As the pool of playable characters has grown, it has become standard for every banner cycle to feature two five-star units.
The ongoing Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.2 will feature two new five-star characters: Tribbie and Mydei. Tribbie has already been released and is currently featured on the limited banner alongside Yunli’s re-run. The second phase of the update will introduce the new Destruction user, Mydei, along with a re-run for Huohuo.

Even though update 3.1 has not yet reached its halfway point, new leaks have revealed details about which five-star characters will appear in Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.2. The game’s official social media accounts have previously confirmed that the next update will introduce two new five-star characters: Castorice and Anaxa. A post on the Honkai: Star Rail Leaks subreddit has revealed all the banner characters that will arrive in the next update. According to the leak, the first banner cycle of Honkai: Star Rail 3.2 will feature Castorice along with Fugue, Acheron, and Jiaoqiu as the limited five-star characters. The four-star lineup will include Pela, Lynx, and Gallagher. The second banner cycle will feature only two five-star characters, Anaxa and Dr. Ratio, with Dan Heng, Serval, and Moze as the limited four-star characters.

Even though previous Honkai: Star Rail leaks suggested that Aventurine could also receive a re-run, the updated list indicates that players will have to wait a few more months before having the option to pull for him. Since her reveal, Castorice has quickly become one of the most popular characters in the Honkai: Star Rail community. Also known as the Maiden of War, she has already appeared in the main storyline, and recent leaks suggest that she will be a new DPS unit.
Castorice will also follow the new Path of Remembrance, meaning she will likely fit into the current Honkai: Star Rail meta. Many fans have pointed out that it seems unusual for three out of the four rumored five-star characters in the first banner cycle to follow the Path of Nihility, a category known for characters that specialize in applying debuffs.
Anaxa has also appeared in Honkai: Star Rail’s main storyline; however, not much has been revealed about this character. As for the update’s exact release date, players can expect Honkai: Star Rail 3.2 to arrive around April 8.
