A Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.7 leak seems to be hinting at another 5-star Xianzhou Luofu native, along with a highly-anticipated Penacony character. According to a leak from Uncle G7TDD8tv, Version 2.7 will allegedly debut Tingyun's 5-star form and Sunday, the disgraced former head of the Oak Family in Penacony. Both characters have been heavily rumored to be playable in the future, especially Tingyun, who's believed to have passed away in previous chapters and is now reportedly coming back with a new appearance.
Previous Honkai: Star Rail leaks suggest that Tingyun's new form sees her with pink hair and six fox tails.
Rumored Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.7 Banner Phases
Additionally, Uncle G7TDD8tv revealed that Sunday will launch in the first half of Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.7's Warp banner, while Tingyun will be in the second half. There's no official confirmation yet about the banner schedule, so this might still change in the coming months. Previously, leaks reported that Sunday might be an Imaginary-type Harmony character, and Tingyun might be a Fire-type Nihility character.

Many Honkai: Star Rail fans expressed excitement over the news, saying that they couldn't wait to see Sunday and Tingyun's new form in action. Some were also hoping that HoYoverse would finally push through with this alleged plan because they'd been waiting for Sunday's release since the Penacony arc.
Honkai: Star Rail has yet to cap off the current Xianzhou Luofu arc, so it's possible that Tingyun might make an appearance in the near future. Plus, with the upcoming release of 5-star Penacony character Rappa, there might also be a new Penacony mission or side quest soon, which might give the Trailblazer a chance to encounter Sunday again.
