While it's true that Hanya has niches where she shines in the most, players can still find a lot of value from her across the vast majority of content in Honkai: Star Rail. Here are some of the best characters that Hanya synergize with the most.

Best Teams for Hanya

As a support character, Hanya is designed to be useful in every team composition. Players can bring her along with any other combination of characters and still find success. However, Hanya is especially valuable to SP-hungry characters such as Imbibitor Lunae, Huohuo, or Qingque.

Imbibitor Lunae and Qingque in particular benefit greatly from Hanya since they work best when they consume multiple Skill Points per turn. Hanya alleviates this by inflicting the Burden debuff on enemies, which generates an extra Skill Point after the debuffed enemy is struck twice by two separate Basic Attacks, Skills, or Ultimates.

The same general idea applies to other characters who rely on constantly spamming their abilities. Seele is a good example of this, since she can easily burn through the entire team's SP counter if she can chain her continuously chain Talent.

Fu Xuan can serve as an excellent tank for an SP-hungry team since she herself doesn't rely on casting her own Skill much. The Master Diviner's main defensive ability is very efficient SP-wise. For spending just one Skill Point, players get three turns of damage reduction and increased CRIT Rate for the entire team (except for Fu Xuan herself). This means players have more opportunities to use their SP on damaging abilities.

Argenti + Huohuo + Hanya + Tingyun

Keep in mind that SP generation isn't Hanya's only strength. Her Ultimate buffs the SPD and ATK of her allies, while her Talent makes any attack on an enemy marked by Burden deal 30% more damage. In-game, her Talent description states that it increases the DMG dealt, which implies that it is not limited by the diminishing returns suffered by stacked ATK buffs.

Hanya is very frail compared to other support characters, so make sure to have a strong healer on the team to keep her HP from dropping to zero. Apart from Fu Xuan, Gepard is a great pick for keeping Hanya safe.
