Honkai: Star Rail has officially revealed three new stages players will be able to challenge during the upcoming Version 2.3 update, giving players new Relics and Planar Ornaments. With each new update to the massively popular sci-fi RPG, HoYoverse typically gives players plenty of new things to do in-game. Version 2.3 has already been confirmed to be adding two major new game modes to the game, with both Divergent Universe and Apocalyptic Shadow set to debut in Star Rail. Now, multiple new repeatable stages are being revealed.
Much like its predecessor in Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail features a wide variety of repeatable challenges for players to farm resources. Calyxes offer useful leveling items like Character and Light Cone experience materials, while the "Stagnant Shadow" challenges reward players with materials used to power up their characters. The "Echo of War" challenges feature rematches with the game's major bosses, granting resources that allow players to reach a character's highest Trace levels. Three new challenges are now confirmed to be coming with Star Rail's next update.

An official reveal from Honkai: Star Rail details the three new stages players will be able to challenge during the game's next update. The newest Cavern of Corrosion, "Path of Cavalier," will reward players with Relics from either the "Iron Cavalry against the Scourge" or "The Wind-Soaring Valorous" sets. The newest Planar Ornament Extraction from the Divergent Universe's debut will grant the "Forge of the Kalpagni Lantern" and "Duran, Dynasty of Running Wolves" sets. The update will also introduce a new Calyx to Penacony, featuring materials for the newest world's Erudition characters.

Honkai: Star Rail's newest Relic sets are set to uniquely benefit the five-star characters joining the RPG's roster. "Iron Cavalry against the Scourge" is expected to be the best set for the highly-anticipated Firefly, providing a bonus to her Break Effect and ignoring DEF when breaking an enemy's Weakness. Both "The Wind-Soaring Valorous" and "Duran, Dynasty of Running Wolves" will offer unique benefits to new character Jade as well, with several bonuses for using follow-up attacks. The new Calyx and the Cavern of Corrosion will both be located at the Penacony Grand Theater.
With plenty of new challenges on the way in Honkai: Star Rail's Version 2.3, players will have a unique opportunity to farm in-game resources. HoYoverse has revealed the return of Honkai: Star Rail's "Garden of Plenty" event, boasting double rewards for farming Calyxes during the event. Star Rail has also regularly introduced ways to challenge newer bosses and domains early, allowing players to farm resources for their characters before reaching their point in the story.
