Honkai: Star Rail has revealed all the details about the Divergent Universe, confirming that it will serve as another source of Stellar Jades starting from version 2.3. Honkai: Star Rail's version 2.3 is almost here, with the developers providing details about modes that will be available in the upcoming update. Recently, they announced a brand-new endgame mode, Apocalyptic Shadow, which works similarly to Genshin Impact's Spiral Abyss domain.
It appears that Honkai: Star Rail will receive an endgame expansion in version 2.3, which features Apocalyptic Shadow and Divergent Universe modes. These combat-oriented modes allow players to tackle challenges and test their teams against the most formidable enemies in the game. They are comparable to Honkai: Star Rail's Memory of Chaos and Pure Fiction, given that they have similar gameplay mechanics.

Honkai: Star Rail's Divergent Universe will be a permanent mode that consists of 13 domains, as revealed by the developers in a recent blog post. At the end of each domain, players will encounter a different boss and obtain Synchronicity Points to increase their Synchronicity level. There will be two paths in the Divergent Universe, Ordinary and Cyclical Exploration, which have several difficulty levels. Completing these paths will reward players with Simulated Universe points.

The most important aspect of the Divergent Universe mode is Equations, which provide players with useful buffs. To activate these power-ups, Trailblazers must collect a certain number of Blessings. It should be noted that multiple Equations can be activated at once as long as the Blessing requirements are met.
Players who complete the Divergent Universe mode will obtain Stellar Jades, Tracks of Destiny, Self-Modeling Resin, Lost Crystal, Refined Aether, Herta Bond, and Rail Passes that can be used on permanent banners.
In addition to Divergent Universe: The Human Comedy, Honkai: Star Rail version 2.3 will introduce a new permanent mode, Apocalyptic Shadow, which will provide differing strategic experiences. It will feature enemies that are more powerful than the ones players have encountered before. According to the description, bosses in Apocalyptic Shadow will be very different from their regular versions and have additional powers.
Stages within the Apocalyptic Shadow mode will have a Value Timer that gets reduced as time passes. This timer will calculate how many points will be given to players for completing one stage. The higher points Trailblazers collect, the more rewards they will receive. Honkai: Star Rail's four-star Destruction unit Xueyi is among the Apocalyptic Shadow rewards, along with Stellar Jades, Lost Crystals, and Jade Feathers.
