Honkai: Star Rail will be giving out free Stellar Jades to players. This will be good news for those who have been saving their Stellar Jades to pull for the upcoming five-star banner characters.

Honkai: Star Rail is currently gearing up for the rollout of Version 1.1 on June 7. In this update, players will be introduced to new characters Silver Wolf, Luocha, and Yukong, along with events and features, such as an in-game chat for Honkai: Star Rail. The Version 1.1 pre-download is currently available for PC and mobile, and HoYoverse also announced that there will be scheduled server maintenance on June 7, 3pm PT/6am ET.

The server maintenance will be five hours long, which means that Honkai: Star Rail will be offline during that period. As compensation, HoYoverse will be giving players over Trailblaze Level 4 free 300 Stellar Jades, which can be claimed in their in-game mail once they finish downloading the update. These will be available to claim until July 7. Players who haven't reached Trailblaze Level 4 might still have time to farm EXP materials and accomplish missions to reach the level before the game goes into maintenance.

It's a common practice for HoYoverse to give out free in-game currency when their titles go into maintenance. Many Honkai: Star Rail players expressed their excitement over the upcoming update, and also thanked HoYoverse for the free Stellar Jades as they would be a huge help when pulling for Silver Wolf and future five-star banner characters. It also helps that they could get free Star Rail Special Passes in Version 1.1 just by logging in for seven days.

Since launching in April, Honkai: Star Rail's turn-based gameplay and compelling storyline have caught the attention of many players. Longtime HoYoverse fans have also compared Star Rail to Genshin Impact in terms of character design and combat difficulty. Many have also appreciated how responsive HoYoverse has been with feedback about the gameplay experience, like how it will fix the animation of Seele's ultimate ability.

Following Honkai: Star Rail's strong start, many players might be expecting a lot in future updates, especially in terms of the storyline and quality of the characters' abilities. Although there have been many Honkai: Star Rail rumors and leaks, they don't seem to be ruining many players' experiences. If anything, they might just be fueling their excitement more even though HoYoverse hasn't confirmed any of the news.

Honkai: Star Rail is available now for PC and mobile devices. PS4 and PS5 versions are in development.
