As Honkai: Star Rail players uncover the story of Amphoreus in the Trailblaze Mission, they’ll come across the various lands that have either been destroyed by the rage of the titans or the citizens following them. The “Abyss of Fate” Januspolis is the land where the Titan of Passage, who can control the gate of travel, once ruled. The area is now nothing but a wasteland after the war, and its area is distorted between Dawn and Evernight.

Januspolis is quite a tricky area to navigate, and that’s because of the varying time dimensions in which it exists. You can use the Miracle Book to change the occasion as some puzzles are only available during certain eras. Among the usual chests and puzzles, the area also has mini-games like the Golden Scapegoat. There are a total of five Golden Scapegoats in this area, and here’s how Honkai: Star Rail players can reach each one.

Teleport to Destiny’s Desolation Space Anchor and head down the pathway toward the inner area. You’ll recognize this place from the Trailblaze quest, and if you missed the Golden Scapegoat in the area, remember that you need to use the Miracle Book to perform a Miracle and switch the area to Dawn. Only then will the mini-game showcase itself. Here are the correct steps:

For this Golden Scapegoat puzzle, teleport to Everdream Gate Space Anchor and head inside to the inner room. This is the room with the massive justice scale that you will use during the Trailblaze quest. The Golden Scapegoat will be to the left of you and on the same floor level you are currently on. You need to use the Miracle Book to perform a miracle and change the time to Dawn.

Next, head toward the hallway on the left, turn right, and head toward the Golden Scapegoat you see behind the enemy. To reach the area, you will need to use Oronyx’s rewind ability to fix the bridge and get to the other side. Here are the correct steps for the puzzle:

Teleport back to the Everdream Gate Space Anchor and head all the way down the staircase to your left. You’ll find the Golden Scapegoat right behind a set of enemies. Here are the correct steps to this:

“Abyss Of Fate” Janusopolis Golden Scapegoat Puzzle 4

This next Golden Scapegoat puzzle is also inside the same area and located behind the Scales of Justice. It can also only be found during Dawn and at the lower level behind the doorway in the center. To reach this area, go right after entering the room, then head down the first flight of stairs you see. Keep going straight, and then turn right toward an area that has the Miracle Orb. Engage with it and turn the orb left so that it shines on the boxes that are blocking the stairs in the center of the room.

You can then use the stairs on the right to reach the area and climb up to go behind. Here are the steps for the Golden Scapegoat:

The final Golden Scapegoat puzzle is located near the Something Space Anchor, and it’s likely that you haven’t opened it since the Trailblaze Mission. You can teleport to the Silent Shroud Space Anchor and head down the stairs to your right. You need to go through the door and past the corridor to reach this new area. There are a few mechanisms here that you need to work out, but make sure to pick up the Blessing from behind you before using Oronyx’s rewind power to move the broken pillars. Once you’re at the end of the corridor, just go through the door, and you’ll arrive at the puzzle location. Here are the correct steps for this puzzle:
