Now there are actually a couple of secret achievements related to Cocolia, leader of Belobog in Honkai: Star Rail. But, the majority of these achievements have to do with fighting her in her human form, not in her Fragmentum Monster form called 'Cocolia, Mother of Deception'.
Well, except for the Hot-Blooded achievement that is, And, while it may look pretty difficult to unlock, it's actually not that bad as long as Honkai: Star Rail players know what they're doing going into the fight, so let's go over it.
How Hot-Blooded Is Unlocked
So, to actually unlock this achievement that gives a handy 20 Stellar Jades that most players are using to roll for Silver Wolf and eventually Luocha, players will need to beat Cocolia, Mother of Deception in the 'End of the Eternal Freeze' Echo of War. But, they don't need to just 'beat' Cocolia, they'll have to do it without any of their party getting frozen during the fight at all. Anyone who has gone through the fight a good number of times is probably wondering how this is even possible, given that her Soulrend Coldstream attack has a 100 percent Freeze chance, and her other basic attacks in Phase 1 can also Freeze allies. Well, thankfully, there's a pretty surefire workaround to this.
Turns out there's a really easy way to get around this, and it involves a little item called the Stone from the Everwinter Monument. Players tend not to use Consumables very often in Honkai: Star Rail, but this achievement might just change their minds, as using this Everwinter Monument Stone makes Hot-Blooded so much easier to unlock.
Getting The Recipe For The Stone From The Everwinter Monument
The funny thing is, players who have already scrounged around for all the Stellar Jades they can find in HSR probably already have the recipe for this item and don't even realize it. To get it, players need to buy it using Shield at Lauder's Grocery Store in Boulder Town on Jarilo-VI. Again, a lot of players have already bought this store out completely to get all the rewards based on their total spending at this World Store, but for the ones who haven't, it'll only cost 120 Shield.
After buying and unlocking the Recipe, players will need to use 3 Cores of Ice, 3 Preservation Construction Materials, 2 Hard Chips of Nihility, and a Tear Crystal of Glorious Death to craft the Stone. All of these items drop from different random mobs pretty regularly such as Everwinter Shadestalkers or Imaginary Weavers, so most players will already have the supplies ready.
What This Consumable Actually Does
Now, after all this effort, is it actually worth using this item against Cocolia, Mother of Deception? Absolutely. The Stone from the Everwinter Monument, on use, increases all allies' chances of resisting the Frozen Status Effect by 50 percent, which is the one Status Effect they'll need to resist in order to get Hot Blooded.
Keep in mind that this applies to all allies in the party when the item is used, so it's probably not worth using a Support Character from another player here, as that one character will just put the achievement at risk. Additionally, it only increases their chances to resist the effect, it doesn't make them immune to being Frozen, so players may still have to restart the fight and use another Stone if the worst comes to worst.

After players unlock, craft, and use their Stone from the Everwinter Monument, they're basically ready to go on trying to unlock Hot Blooded. They can also use some other Consumables to make the fight a bit easier such as a Disposable Kinetic Cannon to increase their Attack or even a Fire Enhancement Paste. As long as they don't try to use another Defense-type Consumable, an additional Attack-type Consumable should stack. When it comes to the actual fight with Cocolia, here are a few more tips just to make things easier:
- Remember, even if a player has done their 3 Echos of War a week, they can still 'enter' the Echo of War portal, but the rewards will be minimal, so weigh if saving 20 extra Stellar Jades from the achievement to use in rolls for future 'leaked' characters are worth that 30 Trailblaze Power or not.
- The achievement doesn't specify difficulty at all, and it's not in the Forgotten Hall like some of the other difficult achievements, so players can just go with the Difficulty 1 battle against a level 38 Cocolia to make the process even easier.
- Just focus on using overpowered characters to inflict as much DPS as possible as soon as the battle starts, the faster players get Cocolia into her Phase 2, the easier this achievement will be since she doesn't try and freeze allies anymore in Phase 2.
- If she uses Harbinger of Annihilation and 'locks on' to an ally, the player will want to break her Toughness before her next turn. If they don't, she'll use Soulrend Coldstream, and even with the Stone active it'll often still Freeze her target.
- Remember that players have access to the Preservation Creation's Wrath ability (R Key by default) during this fight, so use it whenever it's up.
- Keep in mind that the Last Choir of Genesis attack during Phase 2 will still likely do a good chunk of damage even to overleveled characters, so keep those characters shielded or healed before it goes off.
And that's about it. Once players have the Stone from the Everwinter Monument, this achievement is basically a cakewalk to get, but most aren't aware of this Consumable at all or how to go about avoiding Cocolia's Freezing attacks.
