Archer is a Fate collab character in Honkai: Star Rail. The Hunt Quantum character can deal a lot of DMG to a single target by constantly attacking them with his Skill. However, to make the most of that, you need to build Archer with more Skill DMG and Crit Value. For that, here’s the best build for Archer in HSR.

Archer Build In HSR - Best Relics
As a character that heavily relies on his Skill DMG, players can build Archer with the Scholar Lost in Erudition Relic set to greatly increase his DPS. The Scholar Lost in Erudition set increases Archer’s Crit Rate by 8% and Skill DMG by up to 45%, which is amazing for him. Not only that, but the set also increases his Ultimate DMG by 20%. Archer scales nicely with his Ultimate, so he can take advantage of that DMG increase.
On the other hand, the Wavestrider Captain set is also great for Archer, as it grants him an extra 16% Crit DMG and a 48% significant increase to his ATK. The only requirement is to have a support that targets Archer for an ability, which is easy considering Archer’s best team always includes Sparkle or Sunday. You can also build Archer with the Genius of Brilliant Stars set as a last resort to maximize his Quantum DMG. It’s an acceptable option until you farm better options for him.
As for Archer’s best Planar Ornaments sets, build Archer with the Firmament Frontline: Glamoth set, since it grants him 12% ATK and up to 18% extra DMG if he meets its 160 SPD requirement. However, this SPD requirement can only be achieved by rolling good Sub-stats or by sacrificing a slot in the team to add supports that increase Archer SPD, like Hanya in Honkai: Star Rail. So, if you didn’t get the SPD Sub-stats that put him at 160 SPD, build Archer with the Rutilant Arena set. It increases his Skill DMG by 20% with a 70% Crit Rate requirement. That’s an easier build to pursue for Archer without sacrificing a lot of DMG. Inert Salsotto is also a viable option, although not as good as Rutilant Arena.
Archer Build In HSR - Best Light Cones
Archer is a very F2P-friendly character to build because Cruising in the Stellar Sea is one of his best Light Cones in Honkai: Star Rail. You can get the free 5-star Light Cone and even its S5 upgrade from the Simulated Universe. Cruising in the Stellar Sea increases Archer’s ATK% by 40% and Crit Rate by up to 32%, which is crazy good. You can also build Archer with Light Cones like Swordplay, Final Victor and Only Silence Remains. These 4-star Light Cones do a good job of also increasing Archer’s ATK% and Crit Value, giving him what he wants without sacrificing a lot of DMG.

Stellar Jades is a crucial currency in Honkai: Star Rail as players need them to get new characters in the game.
The best Light Cone for Archer build is The Hell Where Ideals Burn. It massively increases his ATK% by up to 80%, in addition to increasing his Crit Rate. If you’re building Archer with the Firmament Frontline: Glamoth Planar Ornaments set, and you need to reach 160 SPD, go for In the Night Light Cone as it shares the same requirement to give a lot of extra ATK%. This combo makes In the Night one of the best options for Archer builds in Honkai: Star Rail.
Finally, as a lot of the Hunt Light Cones in HSR increase Archer’s Crit Value and ATK%, you can also build Archer with Baptism of Pure Thought, See You at the End, and Worrisome, Blissful. They all offer a similar DPS increase, so go for the one you already have, instead of pulling for it.
