Luocha is a highly anticipated Abundance character in Honkai: Star Rail, offering a valuable addition to the healer roster, which was initially limited at the game's launch. In contrast to the currently available Abundance characters, Bailu and Natasha, Luocha brings unique utilities and ATK scaling. Focused on single-target healing, Luocha can passively heal through a deployed field, and his Ultimate delivers AoE damage to enemies while stripping them of buffs. Similarly to Natasha, Luocha's Skill removes buffs from the targeted ally while providing healing, which proves crucial against formidable adversaries.
As Luocha's healing abilities are ATK-dependent, he requires a distinct build compared to other healers in Honkai: Star Rail. However, when it comes to light cones, he can still benefit from many available options, particularly those that provide additional Outgoing Healing Bonus rather than HP considering that the ATK bonus Abundance light cones are quite limited. Although players have access to a wide variety of light cones, it's worth noting that the top options for Luocha are exclusively obtained from Gacha, which may be less friendly for free-to-play players.
5 Perfect Timing

- Effect: Increases the wearer’s Effect RES by 16%/20%/24%/28%/32% and increases Outgoing Healing by an amount that is equal to 33%/36%/39%/42%/45% of Effect RES. Outgoing Healing can be increased this way by up to 15%/18%/21%/24%/27%.
Showcasing Luocha in its artwork, Perfect Timing stands out as one of the most suitable 4-star light cone options for him. This light cone not only increases Luocha's Effect RES, making him less vulnerable to adverse effects from enemies, but also boosts his Outgoing Healing based on his Effect RES. To maximize the benefits of this light cone, players are advised to prioritize Effect RES sub-stat on the relics for Luocha, aiming for around 30% Effect RES from relics alone. With this percentage, players can effectively obtain the maximum value of Outgoing Healing from Perfect Timing, surpassing what can be obtained from other available 4-star light cones at the same level of superimposition. Alternatively, if players don't have access to a suitable 4-star or higher light cone, they can consider equipping Cornucopia instead. Cornucopia has the potential to increase Luocha's Outgoing Healing to a higher level, thanks to the ease of max superimposing a 3-star light cone due to its accessibility.
4 Post-Op Conversation

While Luocha's Ultimate doesn't provide healing, it is still a valuable component of his kit. It offers damage and buff removal capabilities, and importantly, allows Luocha to accumulate a stack of Abyss Flower. Activating Luocha's Ultimate frequently is advantageous as it improves his healing consistency without relying heavily on Skill usage. Therefore, the Energy Regeneration Rate stat becomes crucial for him to optimize his performance. However, it's worth noting that Luocha cannot fully capitalize on the second effect of this light cone since his Ultimate does not include healing.
3 Shared Feeling

- Effect: Increases the wearer’s Outgoing Healing by 10%/12.5%/15%/17.5%/20%. When using Skill, regenerates 2/3/3/4/4 Energy for all allies.
Shared Feeling can be considered the top 4-star light cone option for Luocha due to its unconditional Outgoing Healing effect. Although the amount of healing provided may be relatively lower compared to other options, it compensates for this by granting Energy to the entire team. This secondary effect is highly beneficial as it enables Luocha to activate his burst faster for increased healing and assists allies in utilizing their own abilities, whether it be additional DPS or team buffs.
2 Time Waits For No One

- Effect: Increases the wearer’s Max HP by 12%/15%/18%/21%/24% and Outgoing Healing by 12%/15%/18%/21%/24%. When the wearer heals allies, record the amount of Outgoing Healing. When any ally launches an attack, a random attacked enemy takes additional DMG equal to 50%/62.5%/75%/82.5%/95% of the recorded Outgoing Healing value. This additional DMG is of the same Type as the wearer’s, is not affected by other buffs, and can only occur 1 time per turn.
Despite increasing max HP instead of ATK%, Bailu's signature light cone, Time Waits For No One, surprisingly works well for Luocha. While the HP stat doesn't directly enhance his healing capabilities, it does provide him with added survivability, especially since his HP values are typically lower compared to Bailu and Natasha, who rely on HP stacking for greater healing efficiency. Furthermore, Time Waits For No One increases Luocha's Outgoing Healing value unconditionally, making the first effect of this light cone still beneficial for him. The secondary effect of this light cone also synergizes with Luocha's sub-DPS role, as it grants him an additional attack based on the healing value. Although not immensely significant, it can contribute to dealing the finishing blow in challenging content while consistently fulfilling his healing duties. Another advantage of Time Waits For No One is its 5-star rarity, resulting in higher base stat values that can positively impact Luocha's healing and survivability potential.
1 Echoes Of The Coffin

- Base HP (LVL 80): 1164
- Effect: Increases the wearer’s ATK by 24%/28%/32%/36%/40%. After the wearer uses an attack, for each different enemy target the wearer hits, regenerates 3/4/4/5/5 Energy. Each attack can regenerate Energy up to 3 time(s) this way. After the wearer uses their Ultimate, all allies gain 12/14/16/18/20 SPD for 1 turn.
Unsurprisingly, Echoes Of The Coffin is the best light cone option for Luocha, given that it is specifically designed for him as his signature light cone. Currently, it stands as the sole Abundance light cone that provides ATK%, granting a significant advantage in terms of both healing and DPS potential. Moreover, it enables Luocha to generate energy after using both Basic ATK and Ultimate, allowing him to frequently unleash his Ultimate. Additionally, thanks to Echoes Of The Coffin, Luocha's Ultimate serves not only as a means to accumulate Abyss Flowers and deal AoE DPS, but also grants a substantial speed boost to all allies for a turn. This speed enhancement not only provides a tactical advantage in terms of action priority for the team, but also allows for activating the secondary effects of some Planar Ornaments, such as Space Sealing Station or Fleet of the Ageless, both of which serve as viable options for Luocha to further increase his ATK value if activated.
