On the Fall of an Aeon is Phainon’s second-best Light Cone in HSR. It’s an F2P Light Cone where players can upgrade it to S5 easily, which is the best part. It has an acceptable Base ATK alongside a passive effect that keeps increasing Phainon’s ATK. Not only that, but when Phainon breaks an enemy weakness, he’ll get an extra DMG buff. This will help Phainon even when he’s in his Ultimate form.

As Phainon Signature Light Cone, Thus Burns the Dawn synergizes perfectly with his kit, especially the last part of its effect, where it grants him 60% DMG when he casts his Ultimate. It will be very hard for other characters to maintain that effect for more than one action, while it takes eight actions for Phainon to lose that effect, before he gains it again when he casts his Ultimate one more time.
