Tribbie Team Overview In HSR - Honkai: Star Rail

Unlike units such as Robin and Tingyun who are limited to ATK-focused DPS, Tribbie brings All-Type RES PEN to the team and DMG-taken debuff for the enemies. This means Tribbie is a generalist Harmony character who works with practically any DPS in the game, even HP-DPS like Blade and Mydei.

Tribbie's value rises if players lack Harmony units, but drops if they have plenty. This is because most characters in Tribbie team comp in HSR basically already have other Harmony designed for them. For example, Tribbie works perfectly with Feixiao + Topaz + Aventurine, but so does Robin.

Another key point to consider when building Tribbie team comp in HSR is her sub-DPS abilities, which can be summarized as such:

Tribbie's Basic Attack is a Blast-hit without any condition.
When an ally uses Ultimate, Tribbie launches a follow-up attack (FUA), up to 1 time per character. The counter resets when Tribbie uses her Ultimate.
After other ally targets attack, Tribbie regenerates 1.5 Energy for each target hit.
Tribbie's Ultimate deals DMG to all enemies, and creates a zone that increases the enemy's DMG taken. When an ally attacks a target, for every 1 target hit, deal 1 instance of Quantum DMG to the enemy with the highest HP among the hit targets.
While the zone lasts, Tribbie's Max HP increases by an amount equal to 9% of the sum of all ally characters' Max HP.
All of Tribbie's hits scale with HP.

So, even though Tribbie works with everyone, the following teammate criteria will make Tribbie a powerful sub-DPS:

Use Ultimate often.
Has AoE hits instead of single-target.
Hits often, like having follow-up attacks.
Packed with HP.
