Before Honkai: Star Rail players get to challenge the bi-weekly rotation of the Memory of Chaos, they must first complete the first fifteen stages of the Forgotten Hall. Naturally, the difficulty slowly increases, and the easiest way to complete it is by waiting until they reached the required Trailblazer level to fight the enemies on an even field.
However, if players properly manage their strategy, beating Honkai: Star Rail challenges while under-leveled is entirely possible. Therefore, for Trailblazers who are struggling with Forgotten Hall level 5 in Honkai: Star Rail, this guide summarizes the important points worth knowing.
Forgotten Hall Level 5 Guide - Honkai: Star Rail
Forgotten Hall level 5 in Honkai: Star Rail has one Automaton Grizzly as the main boss. It's not considered the hardest boss in the game, but since players only have a limited number of turns to get a three-stars ranking, the following information will help with the challenge.
First Wave

Since the first wave has easy enemies, players should take this chance to make sure their Ultimate is filled before the second wave begins. Despite the small foes, though, players must pay attention to the following:
- Automaton Spider will get ready to detonate on its turn. On the next move, it will self-destruct, dealing large damage. Make sure to beat the Spider before it explodes.
- Automaton Beetle can create a shield that nullifies all damage of the next attack. Players should use support or Basic Attack to break this shield as it would be a waste if a DPS uses their Skill to deal zero damage.
Second Wave

The second wave will start with Automaton Grizzly and one Automaton Beetle. The boss can summon two Automaton Spiders which will immediately be ready to self-destruct. On top of that, the Grizzly can also taunt the team, making it impossible to target the Spiders directly. Because of this, there should be either an AoE attacker, crowd controller, or a single-target DPS that can destroy the Spiders before the Grizzly uses its taunt Skill. Failure to beat the Spiders will cause them to explode on their turn, taking a considerable chunk of the team's HP.
Forgotten Hall Level 5 Team Composition
- Memory Turbulence: Lightning DMG +50%
Here are the things players would want to have in Forgotten Hall level 5 team in Honkai: Star Rail:
- AoE DPS (preferably Lightning)
- Single-target DPS (preferably Wind)
- Fire, Ice, or Lightning Toughness breaker
- Healer or shielder
Fortunately, all this can be fulfilled in a F2P setup with Serval + Dan Heng + Asta + March 7th. Players can also try other teams like:
- Jing Yuan + Arlan or Serval + Tingyun + Bailu
- Jing Yuan + Yanqing + Bronya + Bailu
- Serval + Seele + Asta + Natasha
Players can also use Fire Trailblazer as the shielder, but due to how Automaton Grizzly hits in an AoE, the taunt MC provides is rather useless, which means it's better to use other healers/shielders.
Honkai: Star Rail is now available on Android, iOS, and PC. A PlayStation version is in development.
