The Outlying Snow Plains is the first area players visit upon arriving at the new planet, Jarilo-VI in Honkai: Star Rail. It’s mostly an empty, snow-filled area that’s occupied by a couple of enemies. Additionally, a Calyx can be found within the snowy region, which resembles a Domain in Genshin Impact.

While exploring the Outlying Snow Plains, it’s possible to uncover some chests lying around in random spots. Also, Trailblazers will encounter one Warp Trotter hiding behind a tree in Honkai: Star Rail. It’s possible to track the available Basic Treasures and Wrap Trotter in Outlying Snow Plains by opening the map and checking the chest icon in the top left corner.

Outlying Snow Plains Chests Locations In Honkai Star Rail

First, teleport to the Long Slope Space Anchor in Honkai: Star Rail. Head west, then south to find the first chest in the Outlying Snow Plains. Luckily, there aren’t any enemies guarding it, so simply open the treasure chest to get the rewards.

The second and final Basic Treasure in the snowy region is found northwest of the previous chest location behind a house. There are a couple of Silvermane Soldiers near the chest’s location. It’s a three-stage battle, so Trailblazer may face them or sneak around them to get the chest. Alternatively, players can also lure one of the enemies away from its ally to make it a single-stage battle. If by any chance the enemies ambushed the Trailblazer, there’s always an Auto-Battle Mode option in Honkai: Star Rail.

To find the Warp Trotter, go west from the Long Slope Space Anchor to discover the creature hiding behind a tree. It’s possible to hit it with a Physical, Quantum, or Imaginary, to break its Toughness. While in battle mode, make sure to defeat the Warp Trotter as quickly as possible in Honkai: Star Rail, otherwise, it will run away on its third turn. Finishing the battle reward players with 60 Stellar Jade.

There is only one Precious Chest in the Outlying Snow Plains, and it can be easily located since a Formidable Foe is guarding the chest. From the second Basic Treasure location, go west to see the Ice Out of Space Formidable Foe and defeat it to access the chest.

Defeating the Ice Out of Space enemy ends the battle and gives various useful rewards. As for the ones gained by opening the Precious Chest, players will receive:

  • A 3-Star Light Cone (Chorus)
  • Trailblaze EXP
  • Stellar Jade
  • Shield
