Amidst the many gameplay Trailblazers can experience in Honkai: Star Rail, Simulated Universe is one that requires a degree of attention. Unlike other contents of Honkai: Star Rail where players can be AFK, Simulated Universe still requires human presence as it comes with choices to manually pick from.

In the Simulated Universe, players can sometimes find events, which will be decided at random. Among the available occurrences in Honkai: Star Rail is the Shopping Channel event, which gives players three choices with no indication of what the outcome would be.

All of them have You can’t be sure about the level of quality control done by the Traditional Project Department as the prompt, which means players won’t know what they’re getting with their choice. Due to each option having a probability, it may be tough to choose between them. Generally, though, the third option (mechanical box) is arguably the best choice, with the box of donuts being the worst option.

If players don't enjoy gambling, however, they can simply walk away to avoid both the risk and reward.

Simulated Universe Events

Among the various events in Honkai: Star Rail Simulated Universe, some are rarer than others. For instance, Trailblazers likely don’t get rarer events like Shopping Channel and Ruan Mei often and would be more familiar with the ones like I.O.U. Dispenser and Aha Stuffed Toy. Unfortunately, there’s currently no way to pick which event players will come across, so people simply have to play the Simulated Universe often if they wish to complete the event index and collect all the Stellar Jade rewards.

Arguably, Ruan Mei is the best event players can come across in their Simulated Universe gameplay. This is because the member number 81 of the Genius Society can grant a massive boost to the Trailblazer’s journey. She either gives an insane 2000 Cosmic Fragments or All Blessings of one specific Path. The Cosmic Fragment can be used to buy multiple Blessing upgrades from Herta, or players can keep it if they have the Robe of the Beauty Curio, which increases ALL damage by 16% for every 100 Cosmic Fragments owned. This means the 2000 given by Ruan Mei will boost all hits by a whopping 320%.

However, those who don’t have the Robe of the Beauty can simply take the Blessings. Sometimes, these Blessings will follow the Path players choose at the start of the Simulated Universe, but some other times, the given Path is random. In both cases, though, getting Blessings of one kind will certainly put players at an advantage since they always synergize with each other.
