Debuffer and buffer are both of great importance in Honkai: Star Rail. While buffer increases a teammate’s power, debuff reduces the enemy’s strength. One key difference between the two is the fact that debuffs always have a hit chance, which means there are some instances where the debuff is not applied to the target opponent.

Therefore, the best build for Silver Wolf in Honkai: Star Rail should include Effect Hit Rate stat to ensure the accuracy of her debuff. Other than that, here’s everything players need to know about Silver Wolf build in Honkai: Star Rail.

For example, with her Talent having 72% Base Chance to hit, if Silver Wolf has 130% Effect Hit Rate while the enemy has 40% Effect RES, she’ll have a 99.36% chance to apply the debuff. Meanwhile, if Silver Wolf’s Effect Hit Rate is 90% against the same enemy in Honkai: Star Rail, it only has an 82.08% chance to hit, so she may miss 17.92% of the time.

Therefore, people should aim for around 80% to 100% Effect Hit Rate for her Ultimate and Skill to hit, but up to 130% for all of her debuffs to hit.

The best basic Relic set for Silver Wolf is easily a 4-piece Genius of Brilliant Stars. This set increases Quantum DMG and ignores 10% of the enemy’s DEF when the wearer deals damage. If the target is weak to Quantum, then 10% additional DEF will be ignored. Meanwhile, for Planar Ornament, players should go for 2-piece Pan-Galactic Commercial Enterprise as she naturally will stack Effect Hit Rate and players will be able to get that 25% ATK bonus effortlessly.

However, if Trailblazers don’t care about Silver Wolf’s damage, then 2-piece Fleet of the Ageless is a great alternative for the team’s overall damage. Other Planar Ornaments like Sprightly Vonwacq and Inert Salsotto are also viable, although not as recommended.

Silver Wolf Best Light Cones In Honkai: Star Rail

silver wolf best light cone in honkai star rail

The best Light Cone for Silver Wolf in Honkai: Star Rail is clearly her best-in-slot, Incessant Rain. This weapon is not the best for her personal DPS, but it’s great to increase her Effect Hit Rate and increase the team’s damage from the debuff it provides.

Other supportive Light Cones for Silver Wolf include Before the Tutorial Mission Starts, Resolution Shines As Pearls of Sweat, and Void. The first Light Cone is free from Honkai: Star Rail 1.1 event; it increases Effect Hit Rate and helps Silver Wolf regenerate her own Energy. Void also increases Effect Hit Rate, but just for the first three turns, so it’s only good for beginner players with limited Light Cones. Meanwhile, Resolution Shines As Pearls of Sweat doesn’t enhance Effect Hit Rate, but instead applies a debuff that reduces the enemy’s DEF. The reduction and base chance increase with superimposition, so it’s better to bring it once it’s on a high level. The S1 version only has a 60% base chance to hit, which means Silver Wolf may often miss if her Effect Hit Rate is insufficient.

If players want to focus more on Silver Wolf’s damage over her utility, then weapons like In the Name of the World, Good Night and Sleep Well, We Will Meet Again, and Loop are all viable.
