Honkai: Star Rail's new Simulated Universe mode, Swarm Disaster, introduces several new mechanics to the gameplay. Most notably, this mode presents itself as a separate world where players can challenge themselves and earn valuable rewards, including a substantial amount of Stellar Jades and Self Modeling Resin. Additionally, players can explore the intriguing story of Aeons within this mode, offering a fresh and engaging experience.
With these additions, Honkai: Star Rail now offers players access to a wider array of blessings and curios to enhance their experience in the Simulated Universe. The introduction of the Propagation path is particularly beneficial for skill point management, and more specifically for characters who rely heavily on basic attacks for dealing damage, like Blade or Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae since it also further increases benefits of using basic attacks. Furthermore, players will discover new Path Resonances for each path, particularly the Path Resonance Interplay, which allows players to gain even more advantages by utilizing multiple paths simultaneously during a run.
How To Unlock Path Resonance Interplay
To unlock Path Resonance Interplay in Honkai: Star Rail, players must first obtain at least three blessings from their chosen path, which will unlock the first Path Resonance for that path. Additionally, they need to acquire at least three blessings from another path, which will automatically unlock the Path Resonance Interplay between these two paths. The timing of when the other specific path's blessings have been acquired doesn't matter, since even if they have been acquired before actually acquiring the chosen path's first resonance, they will be activated right after.
It's worth noting that not every path will have an interplay with every other path. Instead, each path will only have an interplay with two other paths. Players can unlock these two path resonances simultaneously, and this is actually one of the Trail of Pathstrider missions to complete as well.
All Resonance Interplays in Honkai: Star Rail
In Honkai: Star Rail, there are only two interplays for each path, so players should pay attention to acquiring the blessings from the right path. Fortunately, suitable path blessings will appear more often than others when selecting blessings, making it easier for players to unlock the interplays they want.
The Propagation path in Honkai: Star Rail is only available after completing all chapters, so players cannot unlock its resonance interplays until they reach that point. However, other paths that have an interplay with the Propagation path can unlock their respective resonance interplays by acquiring three Propagation blessings. These blessings are typically obtained through Swarm-related domains,
When selecting a path, players can click on the path and scroll through the bottom to see the names and effects of each resonance interplay. The icon of the matching interplay will also be shown beside the chosen path. This information can be accessed for the chosen path while in the map or a domain as well, helping players make informed choices about which interplays to pursue. Players can find which path interplay resonances are missing by checking their index in Simulated Universe.
