In Honkai: Star Rail, players can increase their Trailblazer level up to level 70, with the last Equilibrium Level being level 6, which allows players to unlock the highest difficulty of every content that is currently available. While Equilibrium level 5 was quite significant since it allowed for content, such as Calyxes, to already have the maximum difficulty, allowing players to farm materials as effectively as possible, it also allowed players to ascend their characters and light cones to the max level, 80, allowing them to be much stronger than before. On the other hand, Equilibrium level 6 allows players to unlock the highest difficulties in the Simulated Universe, as well as for Echoes of War bosses and Relic farming domains, which can also be a great advantage with increased drop rates for various materials. Additionally, players will more often see higher grade materials when farming common monsters in the explorable areas of the map.
In order to unlock Equilibrium Level 6 in Honkai: Star Rail, players must first reach Trailblazer level 65 and complete the last part of the Equilibrium Trials. Doing so will not only unlock the previously aforementioned difficulty levels but also allow players to benefit from additional rewards, including Stellar Jade, Warp Passes, and even the last part of the "Don't Make This Too Easy," alongside some other rewards. Nevertheless, it can be said that while many players may find the trial easy compared to the previous trials, it is more difficult due to the higher-level enemies to defeat, especially for those who may want to tackle this content with F2P characters only. To be able to do so, players are recommended to ascend these characters to the highest level and equip them with the right builds to succeed.
Equilibrium Trial Level 6 Best F2P Team In Honkai Star Rail
While it's highly possible that players will have access to 5-star characters at this stage of the game, it is still quite possible to defeat the trial with only free-to-play characters as well. As such, while players can swap around many of the characters as they wish, based on the weaknesses of the opponents in this trial, utilizing the below team will work quite effectively, when they also utilize below pieces of equipment (Relics and Lightcones). Additionally, it is highly recommended that players pay attention to their Talent priority and upgrade their talents as high as possible before tackling this content:
|
Character (Level) |
Lightcone (Level) |
Relic |
|---|---|---|
|
Dan Heng (80) |
Cruising in the Stellar Sea (80) |
|
|
March 7th (70+) |
We Are Wildfire (70+) |
|
|
Yukong (70+) |
Past and Future (70+) |
|
|
Natasha (70+) |
Quid Pro Quo (70+) |
|
While it is recommended that players try maxing out their characters, light cones, and also the 5-star rarity relics to max levels, if players are struggling with resources, priority should be given to Dan Heng, followed by Natasha or March 7th for defensive capabilities. This is because Yukong's buffing abilities do not scale with her own stat values but only trace levels, allowing players to farm other character's relic pieces with ideal sub-stats as opposed to Yukong.
It's also important to note that while players will obtain Dan Heng, March 7th, and Natasha quite early in their journey, Yukong is only freely obtainable upon clearing the newly introduced Forgotten Hall mode, Memory of Xianzhou, and clear Stage 1. This should be easily doable for players who are already leveling their characters to max levels since the enemies are significantly weaker.

How To Beat Equilibrium Trial Level 6 In Honkai Star Rail For F2P Players
Players must defeat both of the Bosses and Mara-Struck Soldiers alongside them to be able to clear the content. They can start with either of the Bosses; however, players are recommended to be mindful of utilizing techniques effectively. For example, Dan Heng's Technique and initial hit will come in more handy against Disciples of Sanctus Medicus: Shape Shifter, while players may want to consider utilizing Natasha's Technique against Blaze Out Of Space. Otherwise, starting both battles with March 7th is also viable. Since all of these characters benefit from attacking after utilizing their Technique, they are required to choose only one of them per battle initiation.
Tips for Defeating Blaze Out Of Space
- With this team composition, Natasha will need to help March 7th as much as possible for shield breaking whenever she doesn't need to heal.
- First focus on defeating Blaze Out Of Space instead of the Mara-Struct Soldiers, while primarily depleting their health and weakness breaking them with March 7th's Ultimate.
- Ensure that at least one character (but preferably more) is shielded by March 7th's Skill during Blaze Out Of Space's Spontaneous Combustion state before it targets one of the team members to deal significant damage.
- In case Blaze Out Of Space attacks another ally in this state, have a skill point ready for Natasha to heal this particular ally.
- Yukong's action order ideally should be right before Dan Heng for most damage output, especially after she uses her skill. Additionally, players must ensure that Yukong has at least one stack of Roaring Bowstring before using her Ultimate.
Tips for Defeating Disciples of Sanctus Medicus: Shape Shifter
- Focus on defeating Mara-Struck Soldiers that are summoned by Disciples of Sanctus Medicus: Shape Shifter once his first turn begins as soon as possible to ensure that he does not regain HP. Once again, March 7th's Ultimate will be highly valuable in weakness-breaking and defeating them, however, this time Dan Heng and Yukong should also be focusing on them whenever possible.
- Once they are defeated, players can have a much easier time, especially considering the Triple weakness to the team members unlike Blaze Out Of Space.
- Ensure that allies have shield, in particularly before Thudding Calamity attack which does a devastating single target blow.
- Skill point management against this boss may be trickier, however most focus should be given to Dan Heng and March 7th.
Equilibrium Trial Level 6 In Honkai Star Rail - Non-F2P Alternatives
Players who have access to non-F2P 5-star Characters such as Seele, Luocha, Yanqing, or Gepard will have a significantly easier time in Equilibrium Trial Level 6. While Seele and Yanqing simply have a weakness-type advantage with high DPS modifiers, Gepard's shielding and AoE damage abilities bring a big convenience. However, out of these characters, Luocha is the most advantageous one. Not only is he exceptionally strong as a healer while needing minimum skill points, but he can also dispel buffs from enemies, which is particularly useful against Mara-Struck Soldier's Rebirth ability and Disciples of Sanctus Medicus: Shape Shifter's Draining Hit. By utilizing Luocha's Ultimate, players can ignore the summoned adds and entirely focus on this boss during the battle. Otherwise, for the same purposes, players may also want to consider Pela, who can also dispel buffs from opponents. On the other hand, players may entirely avoid Lightning characters since all enemies have a resistance to this element.
Some example compositions are as follows:
- Seele + Bronya + Gepard + Luocha
- Dan Heng + Welt + Pela + Natasha
- Clara + March 7th + Yukong + Natasha
- Yanqing + Asta + Pela + Luocha
- Sushang + Silver Wolf + Bronya + Natasha
