Honkai: Star Rail has given all the details about Huohuo's kit and a brand-new permanent game mode called Pure Fiction. Huohuo will soon make her playable debut in Honkai: Star Rail alongside four-star rerun characters Dan Heng, Serval, and Arlan. For reference, she will only be available in the first phase of version 1.5, which will take place from November 15 to December 6.
Honkai: Star Rail version 1.5 is chock-a-block of content, ranging from character warp events and Light Cones to daily login rewards. Trailblazers who need a healer for their team will get Huohuo, a five-star Wind unit that has incredible defensive capabilities. They will not only participate in events to unlock Light Cones but also clear brand-new Stagnant Shadow stages featuring lucrative rewards. Alongside characters and festivities, Honkai: Star Rail version 1.5 is to bring more endgame content, including Cavern of Corrosion: Path of Underworld and Simulated Universe: World 8.

In a recent blog post, Honkai: Star Rail revealed Huohuo's whole character kit, confirming that she will be a Wind support who can increase her team's ATK and energy in combat. The Foxian girl belongs to the Abundance Path, boosts the chance to resist crowd control debuffs, and inflicts the Horror-Struck effect on enemies to reduce their ATK for a certain number of turns. She can dispel a debuff from a single ally and restore their HP by using the Talisman: Protection skill. Honkai: Star Rail's Huohuo has a simple ultimate that regenerates energy for teammates and increases their ATK for a couple of turns. She can also take advantage of a unique trace, called Stress Reaction to Horror, to regenerate her own energy when her Talent is triggered.
As for the newly introduced game mode, it will become available in Honkai: Star Rail version 1.6 in mid-December. Called Pure Fiction, this permanent mode pits Trailblazers against various enemies that will continuously spawn in each stage. The more enemies players defeat, the higher the score they will have at the end of the challenge. Completing Pure Fiction may be a great opportunity for unlocking new characters and Light Cones, as each stage grants up to 720 Stellar Jades.
From version 1.6, players who successfully complete Honkai: Star Rail's Forgotten Hall will earn a new currency to exchange for rewards. Thanks to an auto-clear function, they will be able to finish this half-seasonal dungeon without having to re-challenge previous stages. Moreover, the availability for each phase of Memory of Chaos will be extended to six weeks, meaning players will have an additional four weeks to clear them.
