Honkai: Star Rail

Honkai: Star Rail tends to either have the most laid back or challenging events, depending on the patch. Some are a mix of both, and usually last about two weeks. There are a variety of creative challenges for players to try, and it usually depends on the planet they’re on.

The Hypogeum Enigma Event is exclusive to Amphoreus and contains a bunch of puzzles that can only be found there. There are 4 types of puzzles to find: The Prophecy Tablet, The Golden Scapegoat, The Hand of Zagreus, and Oronyx’s Miracle. Here are the solutions to each puzzle in Normal and Hard Mode.

Shallow Hypogeum: Prophecy Tablet Puzzles

Prophecy Tablet Room 1

Since this is the first Prophecy Tablet puzzle, it’s relatively easy to solve. Follow these steps to complete it:

Position the square fragment over the first base layer. The square needs to cover the entire image.
Next, move the triangle fragment and position it at the top half of the square.
Finally, position the other triangle fragment on the bottom half of the square.

Prophecy Tablet Room 2

You can automatically head to the next puzzle, which is also relatively easy to solve:

Position the triangle on your top right into the image slot on the left. Do the same with the second triangle on your top left — it needs to go into the image slot on the right.
Then, place the right-angled triangle on the bottom left in the center of the image.
Place the second right-angled triangle in the remaining slot and the image should be complete.

Prophecy Tablet Room 3

The final Prophecy Tablet puzzle in the Shallow Hypogeum can be a little tricky to complete. Here are the steps:

Place both the right-angled triangles on either side inside the square image.
Then, place the remaining two triangles in the open slots to complete the image.

Shallow Hypogeum: Golden Scapegoat Puzzles

Golden Scapegoat Room 1

The Golden Scapegoat puzzle here is relatively easy to complete: just keep heading right. This puzzle is pretty easy, as it only involves 3 action moves. If you keep heading right, your past self will eventually stop at the yellow button, which will open the trap door and bring you to the level where the Flame is.

Golden Scapegoat Room 2

This one can be a little tricky, but follow these steps to successfully reach the flame:

Go right twice, then go right one more time until you fall onto the button.
Go l eft twice to fall to the lower level, and then keep heading right towards the Flame. Do not worry about following through the trap door, since as soon as you reach it, your past self will have pressed the button.

Golden Scapegoat Room 3

This final one is also pretty easy:

Go left four times until you hit the button.
Go right, up, and right four times until you fall off and land on the trap door beneath you.
Go right again to hit the flame.

Shallow Hypogeum: Hand of Zagreus

The Hand of Zagreus Hypogeum challenges are very easy. All players have to do is operate the hand and collect all the coins.

Shallow Hypogeum: Oronyx’s Miracle Puzzles

Oronyx’s Miracle Room 1

Like all the Oronyx's Miracle challenges, HSR players will need to revert between both eras to fix the terrain and get through the area. Here’s what you need to do:

Interact with the book to perform a miracle. Then go straight towards the second book now that the debris has been cleared.
Behind the second book, you’ll see a broken bridge. Use Oronyx’s rewind power to reconstruct the bridge, run across and head towards the door to complete the challenge.

Oronyx’s Miracle Room 2

This final puzzle is a little bit trickier. Follow these steps to get the chest on the other side:

Interact with the book to perform a miracle and go down the centre path. Now that it's Dawn, activate the Miracle Orb in the center to reflect towards the right of the screen.
Go back to the book, perform a miracle again, and then head to the path on the right to reach the chest.

Deep Hypogeum: Prophecy Tablet Puzzles

Prophecy Tablet Room 4

The Deep Hypogeum ones are more on the difficult side. It can take a while to get the combination, but make sure to follow these steps accurately to pass the level.

Place the big square fragment over the base image. It needs to cover the entire thing.
Then, place one smaller square fragment on the right and the other on the left. The fragments need to overlap each other in the center.

Prophecy Tablet Room 5

This prophecy tablet is also a little challenging:

Place the square fragment on the right side on the base image
Take the larger triangle with the right-angle at the bottom and place it on the right side of the inner square base.
Take the other larger triangle and place it on the other side.
Finally, grab one of the smaller triangles and place it inside the square shape. This will make the color in the triangle of the square transparent just like the other side.
Bring the final piece over and place it in the empty spot to your left.

Prophecy Tablet Room 6

This one is the hardest out of the lot and the final prophecy tablet puzzle for Honkai: Star Rail players.

Place the big square on top of the base design. It needs to cover the entire image.
Place one smaller square on the top half of the bigger square.
The next smaller square can be placed on the bottom half of the bigger square. This will create three tiny yellow squares.
Place the last square in the middle to complete the puzzle.

Deep Hypogeum: Golden Scapegoat Puzzles

Golden Scapegoat Room 4

There’s a lot of back and forth in this Golden Scapegoat puzzle, so follow these steps to reach the flame:

Go left twice.
Go right three times to fall on the button
Then go right, left, right, and then go left four times to reach the Flame.

Golden Scapegoat Room 5

Similar to the previous challenge, follow the below steps to reach the flame:

Go left, right, left, right 3 times to the button.
Now just move left, right, left, right, right, right, until your shadow self is on the button.
Once the trap door is open, head left and keep going until you reach the flame.

Golden Scapegoat Room 6

This is the final puzzle in the series:

Go right twice, down, and left four times to hit the button.
Now that your shadow self is released, go right three times, up at the first ladder, right again, down and left until the trap door opens and you fall into the flame.

Deep Hypogeum: Hand of Zagreus

Similar to the previous challenge, just follow the instructions given to collect the coins with the Hand of Zagreus. There’s not much of a difference and this one is pretty easy to complete.

Deep Hypogeum: Oronyx’s Miracle

Oronyx’s Miracle Room 3

This one is relatively easy for a puzzle in Hard Mode. Follow these steps to get the chest:

Interact with the Miracle Book to perform a miracle and change the time to Dawn.
Run around to the other side where the Miracle Orb is and position it to enlighten the chest.
You can now go and grab the chest.

Oronyx’s Miracle Room 4

This final puzzle of the event is a little tricky, as it requires players to find three chests in the area.

Head to the first Miracle Book you see and perform a miracle. This will get rid of all the boxes near the first chest.
Interact with the first Miracle Orb and position the ray to the middle of the platform.
Head down that platform to the other side and use the second Miracle Orb. Position the Miracle Orb to shine on the right side of the screen (this will get rid of the blue boxes blocking your way to the chest).
Run back the way you came and position the first Miracle Orb on the chest. Head left, climb the stairs, and grab the chest.
The second chest will now pop up on the map, and will lead you to a third Miracle Orb. Activate that to shine on the chest.
Head back down the way you came towards the first Miracle Orb and position it on the cube in front of you to create a path.
Run across again to the second Miracle Orb and position it to the left marker on the screen. This will get rid of the boxes that are blocking you from reaching the second chest.
The third chest is easy to find as there are no mechanisms hiding it. Follow the navigation to a room and claim the chest to complete the challenge, and obtain your rewards.
