A recent Honkai: Star Rail leak has revealed several balance changes to March 7th's new variant that will be obtainable in version 2.4. Over the past few weeks, leaks about Honkai: Star Rail's Imaginary March 7th have surfaced, giving players an idea of her skill set and model. There have been rumors that the upcoming character will be handed over for free towards the end of July.
March 7th will be the third character to receive a new form in Honkai: Star Rail, after five-star units Dan Heng and Trailblazer. Several leakers claimed she would be an event reward in the first phase of version 2.4. In addition, three of her Eidolons will reportedly be available for free during the same event. Honkai: Star Rail players should treat these leaks with extreme caution for the time being.
The latest Honkai: Star Rail leak from Dim has revealed some changes to the Imaginary March 7th. The character's DEF and SPD are decreased, while her HP is slightly increased. She receives a 40% damage bonus from her enhanced basic attacks instead of 50%. Additionally, March 7th's traces now increase CRIT damage by 24% instead of boosting CRIT rate by 11.9%.

As per the leak, bonuses March 7th gets from her Eidolons are also changed. For instance, My Sword Stirs Starlight boosts the character's SPD by 10% instead of increasing the damage dealt by her enhanced basic attacks.
It's worth noting that some of these Eidolons will be available for free in the next version.
Honkai: Star Rail's Hunt March 7th is a four-star unit that specializes in dealing with Imaginary damage and fits into the DPS role. Her basic attacks deal damage equal to a percentage of her ATK and give one charge. The character's passive ability also gives up to one charge each time she uses an attack or ultimate. When these charges are at seven and beyond, March 7th uses them to earn a damage bonus. March 7th regenerates her energy and gains charges by using her overworld ability. She requires some materials, such as Thief's Instinct, Usurper's Scheme, Conqueror's Will, Horn of Snow, and Credits, to be upgraded.
Aside from March 7th's new form, Honkai: Star Rail's version 2.4 will introduce a pair of units, Yunli and Jiaoqiu, who belong to the Destruction and the Nihility paths, respectively. The upcoming version will also give Huohuo and Black Swan their long-awaited rerun banners.
As per the schedule, Honkai: Star Rail's update 2.4 will be available around July 30.
