Honkai: Star Rail's litany of updates have often brought varied and unique elements to its new game modes. The "Divergent Universe" saw its debut as a remixed version of the fan-favorite Simulated Universe game mode, introducing new elements like Weighted Curios, Moons, and more. HoYoverse has also shown a penchant for management-styled mini-games, frequently rolling out new events tasking the player with managing different in-game businesses. A new leak shared by prominent HoYoverse leaker Sakura Haven is teasing a game mode coming with Star Rail's Version 3.7. The leak references a previous leak for a "chess"-themed mini-game, with some unique content for several characters including Feixiao, Seele, and Mydei. Each character will reportedly feature a different kit as part of the event, going so far as new Eidolons, and buffs for specific teams. The game mode is even said to feature its own separate shop, experience system, and currency within Honkai: Star Rail.
The addition of a new game mode to Honkai: Star Rail could join plenty of exciting future content said to be on the way. Leaks have already given a hint at one of the next old characters set to receive buffs in the future, teasing gameplay improvements for Firefly. Honkai: Star Rail is also rumored to be adding another new mini-game event in the near future, with Honkai: Star Rail's photography event said to be returning but with the focus on fan-favorite Penacony character Sparkle. Honkai: Star Rail's Version 3.7 is expected to launch later this year in November.
Honkai: Star Rail has no shortage of things to do while waiting for the plethora of exciting future content. The recent Version 3.4 update introduced the long-awaited debut of Honkai: Star Rail's crossover with Fate/Stay Night, adding Saber and Archer as playable characters. HoYoverse also rolled out its first round of buffs for older characters, pushing new improvements for Silver Wolf, Kafka, Blade, and Jingliu. Honkai: Star Rail's first major crossover and plethora of other content makes the current Version 3.4 one of the game's most exciting patches yet.
