Summary

  • Honkai: Star Rail leak reveals a new chimera pet named Bubbles, expected in Version 3.2.
  • Fans eagerly anticipate a larger pet roster, with the update scheduled for February 26.

A new Honkai: Star Rail leak has revealed a new chimera pet companion for Version 3.2. While Honkai: Star Rail added a pet system during the 2.0 patch cycle, the pet roster has not been expanded yet.

Unlike its peer Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail does not have an extensive selection of companion pets available. Although players can wander around with pets like Peppy and Diting quite early in the game, these instances were exclusive to quests. For this reason, Honkai: Star Rail fans had long demanded a permanent pet system to be added. In Version 2.5, the game's Luminary Wardance quest introduced the adorable Tuskpir, a pet that could finally walk with players freely around the map. However, now that Honkai: Star Rail has released Amphoreus, fans have been wondering when the next pet could be added. Fortunately for players, it seems the wait will soon be over.

Honkai: Star Rail's Paths have different functions that benefit many team compositions, but one Path seems to be getting left behind.

Reliable leaker Sakura Haven has shared details about Honkai: Star Rail's next permanent pet, expected for Version 3.2. The leak reveals a chimera pet named Bubbles that's quite fond of water and wears sunglasses, a float, and a hat. Chimeras are small creatures found around Amphoreus that have quickly become popular among players because of their cute designs. A limited-time event centered around chimeras has also been confirmed for Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.1, so fans will be able to learn more about these animals soon.

Honkai: Star Rail Leak Reveals New Chimera Pet for Version 3.2

The leak does not reveal how players will unlock the new chimera pet, but there is a chance that the companion could be tied to a quest. On the other hand, fans can already obtain a chimera in-game by purchasing a Mysterious Gift from Janus' Steed in Amphoreus. The color and aspect of this chimera are random for all players, and it is automatically placed in the Trailblazer's room in Okhema City. However, players cannot take the chimera with them as a companion. Hopefully, the arrival of the leaked chimera pet in Honkai: Star Rail's 3.2 update will open the door for a larger pet roster.

Honkai: Star Rail's next update is scheduled for February 26 and with it will come the debuts of characters Tribbie and Mydei as playable units. Tribbie's kit could shake up Honkai: Star Rail's current meta, as she is expected to be the next best Harmony support in the game after Sunday.
