Honkai: Star Rail is sharing all the details for the newest permanent game mode coming to the sci-fi RPG in Version 3.6, featuring some of the game's strongest enemies. The massively popular RPG from HoYoverse has brought plenty of different ways for players to experience its endgame, with a wide variety of different game modes. Honkai: Star Rail's "Simulated Universe" and "Divergent Universe" provide rogue-like dungeons with special buffs, while others like "Memory of Chaos" and "Apocalyptic Shadow" challenge players with powered-up enemies. Now, Honkai: Star Rail is set to get yet another new game mode.
Honkai: Star Rail's Version 3.6 already looks to be an exciting patch for fans of the sci-fi RPG, with some particularly notable additions coming during the update. Version 3.6 will welcome alternate versions of two of the game's starter characters, with Evernight arriving as a five-star variant of March 7th and Permansor Terrae as a new version of Dan Heng. The update will also welcome another re-run of one of Amphoreus' most popular characters, with The Herta featured on the limited gacha banner for a third time. HoYoverse is now showing off a new game mode in Version 3.6.

Honkai: Star Rail is showing off a wide array of quality-of-life updates set to arrive to the game with the upcoming Version 3.5 update.
A new update from HoYoverse is providing more details about the upcoming "Anomaly Arbitration" game mode in Version 3.6. Anomaly Arbitration will task players with building three different teams to use within the game mode, pitting players against powerful enemies with their own unique traits. The game mode's difficulty also lends to a steep requirement for challenging Anomaly Arbitration, needing full rewards from Stage 12 of Memory of Chaos, Stage 4 of Pure Fiction, and Difficulty 4 of Apocalyptic Shadow. Anomaly Arbitration is set to release with Version 3.6 on September 23.
Honkai: Star Rail Reveals Anomaly Arbitration Game Mode
- Requires Equilibrium Level 6 or higher, along with full-star records in Stage 12 of Memory of Chaos, Stage 4 of Pure Fiction, and Apocalyptic Shadow at Difficulty 4 (these can be completed in different versions).
- Permanent high-difficulty challenge updated once per version, consists of 3 Knight trial stages and 1 final King in Check stage.
- In the Knight stages, Trailblazers must form 3 teams to take on the trials in any order. In the King in Check stge, Trailblazers can use a team of any characters.
- Several Arbitral Quadrant buff effects added to King in Check stage, Trailblazers can select one suitable buff effect.
- Enemies in Knight and King in Check possess one or more Traits.
- Participate to obtain limited-time avatar frames, Lone Stardust, Interference Keys, and Self-Modeling Resin.
- New Lone Stardust currency shop, included pet "Complainer", Pom-Pom's outfit "Sweet Dream! Pajamas Set," avatars, namecard
Honkai: Star Rail's challenging new game mode is set to provide a variety of helpful rewards for players with powerful teams. Clearing the game mode's "Knight Stages" will earn players rewards for each three stars they earn, granting Self-Modeling Resin and the new Lone Stardust currency. Lone Stardust will be used in a brand-new in-game shop with exclusive rewards, including a new Honkai: Star Rail pet and the rumored new skin for Pom-Pom. Earning a Bronze rating on the "King in Check" stage also grants an Interference Key, for optimizing which sub-stats are leveled on Relics.
Honkai: Star Rail's Version 3.6 will bring a variety of events alongside its new game mode and characters. HoYoverse will be giving players a free copy of Permansor Terrae as part of the Version 3.6 update, immediately being gifted a copy of the character following his debut. Honkai: Star Rail will also add a new Trailblaze Mission as part of the patch, expected to focus heavily around the mysterious Evernight. Fans of Honkai: Star Rail should have lots to be excited about with the RPG's next update looking to be jam-packed.
