Honkai: Star Rail is making a major update to its reward system for returning players, granting both free Fuel for farming in-game resources and free Relics. The massively popular sci-fi RPG from HoYoverse has seen plenty of reasons to entice older players to come back to the game throughout recent months, with a plethora of new content. January saw the long-awaited debut of the game's fourth playable world in Amphoreus, with subsequent patches adding plenty of characters and the upcoming Version 3.2 ringing in Star Rail's second anniversary. Now, returning players are set to receive a special new bonus.
Much like HoYoverse's other games, Honkai: Star Rail features lots of special rewards to welcome back players who have left the game for a significant portion of time. The "Starlit Homecoming" campaign grants returning players with valuable resources like Stellar Jades, Fuel, and EXP materials just for logging in. Starlit Homecoming also features a series of simple missions which grant further rewards to players, as well as offering limited double rewards for clearing Calyx challenges. Version 3.2 is now set to offer even more for players coming back to Star Rail.
The Right Choice is Clear for Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.2's 5-Star Character Selector
For most Honkai: Star Rail players, the choice is clear for the best character to choose in the Second Anniversary event's 5-star selector.
A recent update shared to Honkai: Star Rail's social media accounts provides the official details for Star Rail's new returning player rewards. HoYoverse will introduce the "Homecoming Assistance" feature to its returner campaign, gifting players with a 4-star Relic set geared towards a selected character's ideal Main Stat and Set bonuses. "A Gift for Returners" will also grant special Fuel Vouchers following Version 3.2, used to "Quick Farm" materials from both Calyxes and Star Rail's Stagnant Shadow challenges. The new rewards are expected to be a permanent addition to Starlit Homecoming.

The four-star Relic sets could also prove useful to fans who haven't fully optimized their characters yet, granting a helping hand while players farm better five-star Relics.
HoYoverse is hoping to draw players back to Honkai: Star Rail on the cusp of a major update for the sci-fi RPG. Version 3.2 will officially kick off Honkai: Star Rail's previously-mentioned anniversary celebration, with everything from a free five-star character to 30 free gacha pulls being given out.
