Honkai: Star Rail has been generous to players lately, with the gacha-based RPG confirming that it will offer a free copy of the Imaginary-based unit Dr. Ratio in update 1.6. Since its initial release, the game has been willing to give bountiful rewards to help Trailblazers assemble their team more easily.
Honkai: Star Rail is all set to release version 2.0, which will reportedly offer an assortment of content, including Penacony-based characters Misha and Sunday. It was confirmed that a pair of five-star units, Black Swan and Acheron, will receive their warp event in different chapters of the upcoming update. Aside from rerun characters, their debut banners will feature several top-tier Light Cones. According to credible leakers, Honkai: Star Rail's 2.0 is scheduled for release in February 2024.
Honkai: Star Rail Introduces New Character Xueyi
Honkai: Star Rail officially introduces Xueyi, one of the characters that will make her playable debut in version 1.6 later this year.
A new Honkai: Star Rail leak from croix suggested that players will get 20 pulls for free in version 2.0, and half of them will be collected at one time. Following the conclusion of 1.6, the game's daily rewards, which are expected to be changed, will net players at least x10 pulls to help them unlock some of the newly introduced characters and weapons. According to the leak, there will also be version rewards that give all Trailblazers x10 free wishes.
It's safe to assume that Honkai: Star Rail will be generous with character rewards moving forward, given that upcoming versions will bring more playable units than ever. As per some leaks, the next event warps will be twice in size due to the abundance of new banners.
Aside from free units, Honkai: Star Rail will add a permanent mode that rewards players with the Quantum-type Lynx. All they have to do is advance to the second floor of Pure Fiction and finish the "Youci's Clever Decor" quest. The upcoming mode is expected to be an alternate version of the Spiral Abyss in Genshin Impact.
Once Honkai: Star Rail's version 2.0 is released, players will have access to a wider roster of characters that will appear in the Penacony world. According to leaks, the new update will add Acheron, Black Swan, and some rerun banners like Luocha and Jing Yuan. There is also a chance that the second part of version 2.0 will bring other Penacony-based units, including Sunday and Robin.
