Honkai: Star Rail has revealed a lineup of rerun characters for version 2.4, including Arlan, Guinaifen, and Hanya. In every Honkai: Star Rail update, multiple characters receive their rerun banners, which last for about three weeks. During this time, players must spend their Star Rail Passes (bought with Stellar Jades) to unlock them forever. Aside from characters, weapons also get their own rerun in every version.

Honkai: Star Rail has a similar banner system to Genshin Impact, allowing players to make wishes for limited characters and weapons (Light Cones) by using tickets. These tickets, called Star Rail Passes, can be bought with in-game currency (Stellar Jade) that free-to-play players can earn from various activities, such as missions, domains, and events. In every version, Trailblazers can gain thousands of Stellar Jades, which translate into many Star Rail Passes, without spending real money.

Honkai: Star Rail has revealed that the following characters will receive their reruns in version 2.4: Huohuo, Sparkle, Hanya, Yukong, Lynx, Guinaifen, Hook, and Arlan. The Nihility-based Fire character Huohuo will appear in the first part of update 2.4, along with four-star reruns: Lynx, Yukong, and Hanya. Honkai: Star Rail's Sparkle, on the other hand, will arrive with Hook, Guinaifen, and Arlan in the second part of the upcoming version.

Aside from these reruns, two new characters, Yunli and Jiaoqiu, will be added to the banner cycle in version 2.4. The developers have confirmed that Yunli will appear in the first phase of the update before Jiaoqiu's debut in the second phase.

In Honkai: Star Rail version 2.4, several four-star Light Cones, such as Poised to Bloom, A Secret Vow, Eyes of the Prey, Perfect Timing, The Birth of the Self, and The Moles Welcome You will receive their reruns. Players will have approximately three weeks to obtain returning characters and weapons from time-limited banners.

According to the version 2.4 program, Honkai: Star Rail will introduce the Imaginary-type March 7th in version 2.4 later this month. Players will have to complete the "March to Mastery: A Star is Born" mission to unlock the character's newest variant. It's worth noting that she will be available after Trailblazers progress in the Saga of Primaveral Blade event. As revealed by the developers, the Saga of Primaveral Blade is a kind of challenge where players must train March 7th in swordplay. The event will likely take place between July 30 and August 21.
