Elden Ring Nightreign has four possible raids or boss encounters that can occur randomly as players try out the different Expeditions. These raids, though rare to come by, can sometimes be difficult to complete. However, players need to complete the raids to avoid getting a debuff that reduces their max health to half or something similar.

The Fell Omen is one such raid boss who appears without warning and brings with him a set of aggressive attacks. Here’s how players can defeat him and claim the rewards in Elden Ring Nightreign.

There is no guaranteed location that the Fell Omen can spawn in, so you will have to play through the Expeditions normally and hope he drops in on you. Yes, that's right, he drops in out of nowhere, so be ready to avoid his landing, as that deals quite a bit of damage to start the fight. Even if you are fighting a normal boss, he can spawn and interrupt that fight, making him a real threat. The fight is pretty similar to the tutorial one, but is different from his Night Boss version. This is because he does not use his cursed sword to let out the blood attacks.

He has an attack where he manifests dozens of golden swords in the sky, and they constantly rain down in a large area, forcing you to retreat and wait out the attack. Aside from that, the Fell Omen throws his Golden Knives periodically and can also use his Golden Spear to charge at you after a brief delay, so don't dodge beforehand.

Fell Omen Rewards In Elden Ring Nightreign

If you are able to defeat the boss, you will gain the Traces of Grace-Given Lord power. This increases your attack power whenever a new Site of Grace is discovered. This can significantly increase your attack power by the end of the Expedition, ensuring you have an easier time with the Nightlord, given that you discovered most of the Sites of Grace on the map.

In the unlikely event that Fell Omen kills you, or you are unable to defeat him with the Night's Tide approaching, he will retreat, giving you a debuff that makes it so that you take increased damage throughout the Expedition.
