Date Everything has 48 achievements for players to unlock as they build relationships with all manner of household objects. However, one of them, called 'Terrapin Drop' requires players to bring a turtle to life. This has resulted in some players seeking out a real-life turtle somewhere in the house, or even trying to interact with the towels shaped like the creature, but neither of these work. In this guide, I'll explain how to bring a turtle to life in Date Everything, so players can get the 'Terrapin Drop' achievement/trophy.

One of Date Everything's more unusual achievements tasks players with dying in the game, which is a little unusual for a dating sim.
How to Get the Terrapin Drop Achievement/Trophy in Date Everything
It's All About Our Friend Sinclaire
To bring a turtle to life, players must complete Sinclaire and Maggie's respective questlines, choosing to tell Sinclaire that he is indeed a man, followed by choosing the option 'I mean... You could try being a turtle?' When he asks you if this means he must remain a sink forever.
To be able to suggest Sinclaire should try being a turtle, you need to have come to the conclusion that he is, indeed, a man. If you try to tell him that he's a sink (and don't have the Smarts SPECS points to use the Jimson Weed dialogue option, it'll cause him to have a mental breakdown and you'll automatically get his 'Hate' ending. This makes him refuse to talk to you.
Instead, tell him he's a sink and when Maggie has doubts, select the dialogue option about how happy it's made Sinclaire.
By pointing out how happy telling Sinclaire he's a man has made him, you'll ensure you also get the 'Love' ending with Maggie as long as you've solved the other two cases correctly.
After doing this, players will then need to realize Sinclaire. The ability to realize a character is only unlocked once you have successfully got a 'Love' ending with 10 different characters in the game. After doing so, you'll receive some messages informing you of the Dateviators newfound ability to turn these household objects into real human beings.
Once you get this message, return to Sinclaire and select the option to realize him. His realization recipe requirements are incredibly low, requiring 0 in every SPECS stat other than Sass, which only requires 5. When you choose to realize Sinclaire, as long as you told him to try being a turtle, he will be realized... As a turtle.
This will unlock the 'Terrapin Drop' achievement/ trophy in Date Everything, and you can rest easy that Sinclaire is living out his best life as an adorable reptile.
