Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater features a world filled with threats and other environmental hazards that can cut Snake's lifespan in half. As players explore the jungle of Tselinoyarsk, they'll encounter enemies, traps, and organic life that can reduce Snake's maximum HP with injuries. These injuries can't simply be treated with a standard health kit, as different medicinal items are required according to the nature of the injuries. Here's how the healing/curing mechanic works in MGSD: Snake Eater.

How to Cure Injuries in Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater

Snake can suffer from various injuries when faced with hostile enemies and environments, which eventually shorten his max HP in Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. When this happens, players will be notified to open up the cure menu in Survival Viewer, which will showcase a complete x-ray of Snake's body and the nature of the injuries. How to Heal HP in MGS Delta: Snake Eater

Life Medicine Heal HP Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater

Once players have taken care of curing injuries in Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, they'll need to recover their HP to survive incoming damage during fights. There are two main ways to recover HP in the game.

  • Health Regeneration: Snake will automatically regenerate his HP when he doesn't receive any damage for a while. The health recovery speed depends on the amount of stamina he has. Players can consume food to recover stamina and speed up HP regeneration in the process.
  • Life Medicine: Alternatively, players can use a medkit-like item called Life Medicine, which can instantly recover Snake's HP completely. While it's a useful consumable to have, it's rare to find in the wilderness and should only be used in an emergency. Instead, players should primarily rely on health regeneration to recover HP.
