Lethal Company is a cooperative horror game where players take on the role of workers collecting scrap on planets inhabited by various dangerous creatures to meet a quota. As in most other similar horror games, in Lethal Company, immersion and communication between players is the key element of cooperation and success.
For these purposes, the developers have created a voice chat that works very well and complements the game. However, sometimes, players can't use the microphone because they don't have one or they just want to share information in another way. This is when emotes come to the rescue. Keep reading to learn how to use emotes in Lethal Company.

Lethal Company: How to Use Emotes
So far, the Lethal Company has only two versions of emotes. To use them, players need to press the following buttons on their keyboard:
- Dance — Number 1 Key
- Point — Number 2 Key
In a world where danger lurks at every turn, emotes are not only entertainment but also a means of effective communication. Various emotes allow players to quickly and effectively express their intentions, strategies, and even their state of mind during the game. They are an important communication tool, helping to strengthen team spirit and mutual understanding.
The Dance emote is more for fun. For example, it can be cool to dance when fans close a quota successfully, or after a scary monster attack to raise the team spirit.
The Point emote has much more potential and impact on the gameplay, especially considering the fact that some creatures react to the sound of voice chat and can notice players. Basically, using this emote, users can point to an object, enemy, or direction completely silently.

Will There Be More Emotes in Lethal Company?
So far, the developers have not fully released the potential of this feature. Unfortunately, it is not known if they will add new ones in later updates, but it would likely benefit the game. Firstly, it would allow players who do not use voice chat to feel more comfortable expressing their emotions and planning strategies, and secondly, it would open up more opportunities and interesting game scenarios.
