Order Bunkers are one of the new activities players can find on Kairos in Borderlands 4. Unlike Ripper Drill Sites and their arena-style battles, Order Bunkers are mini-dungeons where players get to fight hordes of Order troops in hopes of getting precious loot.
If you'd rather not farm Auger Mines in Borderlands 4, Order Bunkers provide a similar alternative, albeit with less teeth and more bullets. You likely would have encountered a few of these while doing the campaign, and if you're not sure how to open them, here's how you can do so.

How to Get Inside Order Bunkers in Borderlands 4
Before you can enter a bunker, you'll first need to finish One Fell Swoop, the fifth main mission of the Borderlands 4 campaign. Here, you'll be attacking one of the Order's facilities in the Fadefields in an attempt to learn more about Indomitus Sol's bioweapon. After beating the mission, you'll be able to use Locust Canisters, which you'll need to open Order Bunkers.
There is always a Locust Canister dispenser somewhere near the entrance to an Order Bunker, but their locations aren't always obvious. Some bunkers have Locust dispensers right in front of their entrances, while some will force players to look around and explore the vicinity.
For example, the dispenser for the Tipping Point Order Bunker in Borderlands 4 is found in a control room near the bunker door. To reach it, you'll need to climb up to the room via the giant ventilation shaft. Meanwhile, the dispenser for the Blacklime Bunker is on a rock across the gap from the entrance itself.
Grab a Locust Canister from a nearby dispenser, then throw it at the bunker door to remove the armor plating. Shortly after that, the main bunker door will open automatically.
You can't hold Locust Canisters forever. If the ticking gets faster, that means it's about to blow.
What's Inside Order Bunkers?
As mentioned, Order Bunkers are mini-dungeons that have fairly straightforward level layouts. They contain a series of combat arenas linked together by corridors and traversal areas, and once you finish blasting your way through the interiors, you'll face a boss that's unique to the Order Bunker you're in.
Speaking of unique, each Order Bunker has a distinct layout. The bunkers have varying sub-objectives, and one may have a layout that's more confusing than others. Regardless, you can farm bunker bosses like how you would farm other Borderlands 4 bosses, but you'll need to run through the entire thing again if you end up leaving it.
