If you participated in the Flabebe Community Day event in Pokemon GO (September 14, 2025), or just have some Flabebe floating around in your storage, you might be wondering how to evolve its second form, Floette, into its third and final form, Florges.

Flabebe can easily evolve into Floette in Pokemon GO by feeding it 25 Flabebe Candy (simple). However, if you try to evolve Floette, it will require a whopping 100 Candy, and you'll see something that says 'Adventure Together to Evolve.' Click on that, and you'll see the requirement, which is earning hearts with your Floette.

Get Some Hearts

Floette and Florges in Pokemon GO

Usually, you would need to earn 20 hearts with Floette as your Buddy Pokemon in Pokemon GO before it can evolve into Florges (and 100 Flabebe Candy). However, because of an ongoing effect from the Flabebe Community Day event, trainers can evolve their Floette after earning only seven hearts. This bonus will last until September 21 at 10 pm local time.

If you're unsure how to get hearts with your Pokemon, you just need to go to their profile page in your Pokemon storage, scroll down, and then hit the Swap Buddies button at the bottom. You'll be able to feed your Pokemon berries to give them some hearts, but to keep getting that number up, you can do the following as well:

  • Take walks together (the Pokemon needs to be in the Buddy slot)
  • Take snapshots together
  • Participate in battles together
  • Visit PokeStops and Gyms
  • Feed it Poffins and Berries
