Corite is one of the main types of currencies available to players in Mecha BREAK, and it is arguably the most important too. Apart from being used to buy cosmetics, it's also what's keeping the player-run economy thriving.
Getting Corite in Mecha BREAK may be a little confusing at first, but once you know what to do and where to go, you'll be able to comfortably grow your stockpile regularly. Here's how you can get some of it.
How Mecha Break Is Improving by Listening to Players
Mecha BREAK executive producer Kris Kwok details the major changes the game has made based on feedback from the recent open beta.
Where to Get Corite in Mecha BREAK
As the game's premium currency, Corite can be bought from the in-game store using real money. Thankfully, there are also a couple of ways to get Corite through regular gameplay, and that involves running missions in the Mashmak mode.
For the unaware, Mashmak is the map where Mecha BREAK's extraction mode takes place. Here, you can expect the regular extraction shenanigans you'd commonly see in other games: drop-in alone or with a squad, grab loot, fight NPCs and other players, then go back home. As far as Corite farming is concerned, players can do the following:
- Sell the loot they get during Mashmak runs on the player market.
- Find chests in Mashmak that contain Corite
Selling Items for Corite
You can sell your stuff to other players via the Matrix Marketplace in the main menu screen. To sell equipment, select the My Listings button on the lower-left corner, then click on Sell or Auction. This will open up a window showing all the items you can put on the market.
Naturally, players will be looking for the best gear in Mecha BREAK — if you want to make the most Corite, do your best to fight for rare gear on Mashmak.
Don't forget that you can steal loot from players by beating them in a fight. If you get an opportunity, consider ambushing other squads for a shot at getting more items.
Other Corite Sources
Corite can also be obtained outside the game, though this method is completely out of the players' control. The first potential source of Corite is the Mecha BREAK official Discord server — you can occassionally receive Ultimate Maintenance Boxes here that contain Corite.
The second source is compensation rewards. The developers usually issue Corite to all players after performing server maintenance, but since these aren't expected to happen often, this isn't exactly a reliable way to get this currency. Still, it's worth taking note of.
