How to Find Berdly in Deltarune

You will find Berdly first when you reach the end of the Cyber Field. Kris, Susie, and Ralsei will ride a roller-coaster, and Queen will arrive to introduce Berdly. He will attack you on his own roller coaster.

After you manage to beat him, he will again appear for a second time in the Cyber City when you are with Noelle. He will spot you and assume that Kris has kidnapped Noelle, resulting in a fight between you and Berdly.

How to Beat Berdly in Deltarune

There are two fights against Berdly in Deltarune. One of them is on the Roller Coaster, followed by another one later in the Cyber City. Here's how you can beat him in both of these encounters.

Fight Berdley on the Roller Coaster

When Berdly attacks you on his roller coaster, beating him is relatively simple. First, you need to know his attack patterns to dodge the hits. He will throw homework papers from the top right corner of the box diagonally towards the bottom left corner.

He can also summon tornadoes on both sides of the box and travel horizontally. Berdly also has a third attack where he fires lots of small arrows that fly across the box. You can dodge all these moves and spare him by selecting your Act choices.

Each of your party members can use their own Act function to bump Berdly until his Mercy meter fills up. He will eventually get derailed, and you’ll be able to spare him.

Fight Berdley in the Cyber City

After this fight, you will encounter Berdly once again. He will use the same attack patterns in this fight as well, but things will be a little different this time. Your party will have only Kris and Noelle, and Berdly will get support from Werewires.

These Werewires will add laser shots from the right side of the box and also drop laser balls from the top of the box. You can spare Berdly in this fight by making Act choices either together or separately that feed into Berdly’s ego.

After the Werewires become tired, you can use Noelle’s Sleep Mist spell to remove them from the fight. Then, once Berdly is alone, fill up his Mercy meter, and you’ll be able to spare him.

If you bring down Berdly’s HP to zero, you will not have the option to free him from the wire in a later fight with Queen.
