There are plenty of interesting places to visit in Dragon's Dogma 2, from the ancient battlegrounds of Vermund to the many temples in Battahl. Monster-infested points of interest are part and parcel of many RPGs, but not every encounter in a new area has to be action-packed.

Players have been encountering a locked door in Ancestral Chamber in Dragon's Dogma 2 that they can't get past. Here's how to do it.

Somewhere down south lies a peaceful hot spring that players can soak themselves in. It's part of an achievement called This'll Cure What Ails Ye, and while it isn't one of Dragon's Dogma 2's hardest achievements, it's surprisingly easy to miss on your first playthrough. If you don't want to miss this little relaxation spot, here's a guide covering its location.

There's only one hot spring in the entirety of the game, and it's located at the southern end of the map in the Agamen Volcanic Island region. This is very close to the mining camp at the start of the game, and there are two ways to get here.

First, you'll need to find a way to enter Battahl in Dragon's Dogma 2. You'll have to either smuggle yourself through the border gate in the Checkpoint Rest Town, or sneak past the border by going through the river beneath the town. The latter involves crossing a very precarious route through some caves and cliffs, so make sure you're prepared to fight.

Once you reach the capital city of Bakbattahl, you'll then need to get to the volcanic island. If you've been playing through the main quest, you'll reach this area as part of Dragon's Dogma 2's Guardian Gigantus quest after assembling the Empowered Godsbane. Alternatively, you can sneak into this region again by passing through Drabnir's Grotto to the far south of Bakbattahl. Follow the route pictured above to get a general idea of where to go.

Dragon's Dogma 2: How to Get Eldricite

Eldricite is one of many very rare and extremely valuable resources in Dragon's Dogma 2. Here is all you need to know to get it and improve your gear.

Apart from unlocking the This'll Cure What Ails Ye trophy, soaking in the hot spring will also heal you and your pawns (this won't recover any max health you may have lost to combat, though). Additionally, the spring's healing waters will remove your Arisen's chest scar and any scars your pawn may have gotten during their travels. For those who weren't aware, scars will appear on pawns when they die in battle — these are different from the cosmetic scars you can place while customizing pawns in Dragon's Dogma 2.

One noteworthy individual outside the hot spring is Lamond, a deadbeat drunk who also happens to be the Warfarer Maister. Give him three Newt Liquers to unlock this new vocation, and don't forget to use the scroll he gives you to unlock the Rearmament ability, which lets you switch weapons on the fly.
