Demon fusion is a major part of almost all Megami Tensei games, with Raidou Remastered continuing the trend. While Raidou Remastered offers a unique twist with its real-time combat, a lot of the usual mechanics from Megami Tensei are still incorporated into the game.
During the tutorial, you'll get your first two demons, and during your first trip to the Dark Realm, you'll be able to collect as many as you can. While you are given some freedom at this point in the game, you still won't be able to fuse your demons together. Here's how to unlock demon fusion and how it works in Raidou Remastered.

How to Unlock Demon Fusion in Raidou Remastered
Demon fusion won't be immediately available, though you'll only need to progress the main story in order to unlock it. Demon fusion happens in the Goumaden, which can be accessed in the Dark Realm or the store right outside of the Narumi Detective Agency, though trying to go there too early will give you a message that Victor isn't in.
The Goumaden is unlocked after completing the first section of the main story in the basement of the Daidouji Residence. After your first trip down there, you'll then be tasked with finding a maid in town, and after interacting with her and getting the drink, Victor will return to the Goumaden, and you can fuse demons whenever you'd like.

How to Fuse Demons in Raidou Remastered
There are three fusion methods in Raidou Remastered that players can use:
- Normal - pick two demons to fuse together.
- Search Fusion - select filters to find a potential fusion recipe.
- Reverse Fusion - choose which demon to fuse based on a list of potential demons you can fuse from everything in your stock.
No matter which method you choose, the process itself is the same. Your two selected demons will essentially be destroyed in order to make the new one. Skill Inheritance is in the game, and you'll be able to choose multiple skills to transfer to the new demon, along with any passive skills. Skill Inheritance is the best way to make stronger demons, as you can greatly expand the scope of skills a demon learns by fusing it with different combinations of demons.
Something unique to Raidou Remastered is the ability to have multiple of the same demon in your stock, making it easy to get a few demons that you find have a good skill and transferring those skills out to other new demons.
It's important to max out Demon Loyalty before fusing them to get the most out of having that demon in your party for a time.
How to Summon Demons in Raidou Remastered
Your demons are automatically summoned at the start of battle, as long as they are in the active party slots. The demons in your active party slots can be changed anytime using the, "Configuration" option in the main menu. The two slots right below Raidou represent the two demons that you'll start out with in battle. While it's helpful to have the right demons at the start of battle, switching your demons out in battle is also very quick and costs no in-game resources to do so.
