Clothing is for more than just vanity in Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2. The outfits you wear have a direct affect on how the people (both living and dead) of Seattle interact with your character. Different styles appeal to different people, and if you want to unlock the Nomad's entire wardrobe, you better be ready to put in a lot of work.
Unlocking new outfits in Bloodlines 2 is fairly simple, but if you want to get clothes that aren't usually worn by your starting clan, you'll need to spend a fair bit of time completing quests and other activities. Here's what you need to do to get every outfit in the game.

Take a look at the official overview trailer for Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2, an upcoming action RPG developed by The Chinese Room.
How to Unlock Outfits in Bloodlines 2
To get a new set of clothes, all you need to do is unlock new vampire skills. Of course, this means that you need to get enough XP to get additional skill points, but if you want to get outfits in the style of other vampire clans in Bloodlines 2, you'll also need to Awaken abilities using Resonant Blood.
To Awaken abilities, you'll first need to finish the A Star of Cold Aspect quest during the main story. After that, find the clan contact for the ability you want to Awaken, then unlock the ability from there. To do the latter, you need Resonant Blood, which you can get by feeding off civilians marked with pink, red, or blue symbols above their heads.
You need both skill points and various amounts of Resonant Blood types to unlock powers from other clans. Take note that unlocking another clan's powers requires more skill points than the powers inherent to your starting clan. This skill point cost can be reduced by building Clan Affinity, which is a measure of how friendly you are with a clan.
If a civilian is glowing pink, red, or blue when you're using Heightened Senses, that means they have Resonant Blood. However, in order to get the right type of blood from them, you need to speak and fully resonate with them first. Your choice of clothing and dialogue will affect the outcome:
- If a person is glowing red, pick a fight with them.
- If a person is glowing blue, intimidate them.
- If a person is glowing pink, flirt with them.
Where to Find Clan Contacts in Bloodlines 2
Clan contacts refer to high-ranking members of each vampire clan in Seattle. They are found all over the city, usually inside their clans' respective territories. Once you get permission from Prince Ryong in the main quest of Bloodlines 2 to freely move about Seattle, you'll be able to visit these contacts, and they'll help you regain your abilities and unlock new outfits. You can find each contact in these areas:
- Niko (Banu Haqim): Aurora Pawn
- Silky (Brujah): The Dutchman
- Mrs. Thorn (Tremere): Wake The Dead
- Patience (Toreador): Aurora Pawn (Backroom)
- Onda (Lasombra): The Glacier Hotel Lobby
- Ventrue (Fletcher): Makom Bar
All Tremere Outfits in Bloodlines 2
The Tremere are a clan of blood mages and warlocks, and as such, the clothes they prefer have an occult feel to them. Even the names lean toward the magic side of things. You can get these by unlocking the following Tremere skills:
- The Trickster: Blood Curse
- The Magister: Blood Salvo
- The Mage: Cauldron of Blood
- The Warlock: Recall
All Brujah Outfits in Bloodlines 2
Brujah outfits are all biker-themed, which represents their status as the radicals and outcasts of vampire society. They mostly wear biker leathers and jeans, and if you have a Brujah outfit on, you will come off as more intimidating to the denizes of Seattle. To get these outfits, unlock the following skills:
- The Rebel: Taunt
- The Brawler: Charge
- The Outcast: Earthshock
- The Drifter: Lightning Strike
All Toreador Outfits in Bloodlines 2
The Toreador clan prefer extravagant, sometimes garish outfits that tend to stand out more than the ones worn by other clans. Wearing one of these makes you more attractive to the people of Seattle, though some might find you pretentious or unapproachable. Unlock the following skills to get these outfits:
- The Player: Entrancing Kiss
- The Poet: Blink
- The Elder: Beckon
- The Diva: Blurred Momentum
All Ventrue Outfits in Bloodlines 2
The Ventrue are essentially the nobility of vampire society. They are bred from leaders and those who are used to handling power, and as such, they dress according to their station. Ventrue outfits aren't as playful or seductive as those from Toreador, and when worn, they give you an air of authority around you that either commands respect or incites rebellion. You can get these through the following Ventrue skills:
- The Herald: Cloud Memory
- The Prince: Possession
- The Seneschal: Terminal Decree
- The General: Mass Manipulation
All Banu Haqim Outfits in Bloodlines 2
Clan Banu Haqim is composed of predators who hunt other vampires. They are assassins who put down those who breach the Masquerade, and as such, they prefer simple clothing that lets them blend in easier with crowds. You'll get along just fine with the common folks of Seattle, but members of the city's upper echelons might look down on you when wearing Banu Haqim attire. These can be unlocked through the following abilities:
- The Justicar: Unseen Aura
- The Stalker: Bladed Hand
- The Sheriff: Mute
- The Slayer: Split Second
All Lasombra Outfits in Bloodlines 2
Clan Lasombra shares Banu Haqim's penchant for stealth, but instead of blending in with commoners, members of Lasombra prefer a more religious aesthetic. Ironically, Lasombra uses the clergy's clothes, and while you're wearing them, people will think of you as a holy person. Not everyone takes kindly to members of the church, though, especially not one who is already dead. Lasombra's outfits are unlocked by getting the following skills:
- The Atheist: Arms of Ahriman
- The Shadow Dancer: Shadow Step
- The Priest: Enter Oblivion
- The Sin Eater: Glimpse of Oblivion
You can change your character's appearance in Bloodlines 2 through the Appearance tab in the pause menu. Apart from changing your clothes, this menu also lets you adjust your hairstyle, eyes, piercings, and facial scars and ornaments. You can change your appearance at any time.
