Final Fantasy 14 Online is Square Enix's entry into the world of Final Fantasy MMOs, and it is one of the top ones out there. With the addition of its latest expansion, Dawntrail, the game has seen an uptick in players worldwide (here's a guide if you're looking for a laptop to get into the game on).

To celebrate this, Square Enix is partnering with Twitch to allow players the opportunity to obtain Twitch Drops for the game (and it is probably one of the first things players should do in Dawntrail since it is so easy). Here is a guide to help the players who want to obtain these awesome Twitch Drops while they can.

What Twitch Drops Are There For Final Fantasy 14: Dawntrail?

FF14 - Twitch Drops
  • Date: July 2, 2024 @ 1:00 a.m. PDT until July 29, 2024 @ 1:00 a.m. PDT

Square Enix has announced that their partnership with Twitch will last almost the entire month of July, meaning there will be plenty of time to obtain these items before they go away forever. Players will need to watch a certain number of hours of a participating Final Fantasy 14 Twitch streamer who has the "View Rewards" tag on their video. Depending on how long players watch Twitch streamers, they will obtain the following items:

  • 1 Hour: x10 EXP Boost Meal Set (Buttery Mogbiscuit & Fat Choco Choco)
  • 3 Hours: x10 Aetheryte Ticket
  • 6 Hours: x1 Chocorpokkur Whistle (Mount)

These are for the total accumulated hours. That means players only need to watch the stream for 6 hours rather than 10 to obtain all the rewards.

Obtaining these Twitch Drops isn't as difficult as players may originally think.

  1. Log into your Twitch Account or create a new one.
  2. Click on your profile picture at the top right-hand side of the screen.
  3. Go down to "Drops & Rewards."
  4. Select the "All Campaigns" option.
  5. Select one of the Final Fantasy 14 options under "Open Reward Campaigns."
  6. Then select the link to the Final Fantasy 14 Online category.
  7. From there, just ensure that whatever video you click has the "Viewer Rewards" tag.

Alternatively, players can just search the game's title, but doing it this way ensures that you reach the official category for the game, where you will have way more options on who to watch. Once you are watching, you can check the "Drops & Rewards" section again to see how close you are to your next reward.

Once you obtain a Drop, you can head to your Drops & Rewards "Inventory" section and see what Drops you have to claim.
