Destiny: Rising takes the world and shooter action fans have come to know and love about the series and blends it with some gacha mechanics rewarding players with consumable items, characters, and decal packs. While you'll earn a lot of these consumable items and in-game currencies as you play through the game, there's nothing better than getting some freebies. That's where the pre-registration rewards in Destiny: Rising come in handy, but you'll need to know how to claim them.

How to Claim Pre-Registration Rewards in Destiny Rising

To claim pre-registration rewards, you need to advance through the game's main questline until you've completed the 'Assemble a Fireteam' quest in Chapter 1-1. After doing this, you'll be introduced to the mechanic for pulling different characters. Around this time, you'll also notice that if you open up the Ghost menu (top right corner of the screen), you'll have a red exclamation mark icon next to the bottom right option in this menu.

While it is possible to access your Mail before completing the 'Assemble a Fireteam' quest, the pre-registration rewards message won't be there. It only appears once you've completed this quest and reach the point at which you can begin pulling characters.

Select this, and you can now access the 'Mail' option. Here, you'll find a message from System titled "Destiny: Rising exceeded 10 million pre-orders! As thanks, please accept your pre-order gifts!"

Tap on the 'claim' button on the bottom right of the message, and all the rewards will be added to your inventory/ account.

The pre-registration rewards are:

Golden Beetle exotic weapon ornament
10 Bon Voyage Charms
5 Incandescence Ribbons
20 Enhancement Prism Choice Chest
20000 Glimmer

While the exotic weapon ornament is a nice aesthetic add-on to one of your weapons, it's likely the Bon Voyage Charms that are going to be most interesting. These are the main Gacha currency in Destiny: Rising, and while there are a fair few different ways that you can get them through playing the game, getting 10 for free and early on in the game can help you grind out your first Mythical character quickly. You only need to pull 30 times on the permanent banner to guarantee yourself a Mythical pull, so this will get you a third of the way there as soon as you unlock the mechanic itself.
