Players can use the flashlight in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl as early as the first mission, right as you get off the truck and enter the first compound. However, there's no tutorial screen on how to toggle the flashlight on/off, and there is no single button to turn it on. This has resulted in players rummaging through the dark buildings and open areas without any light source, which could prove dangerous in the world of Stalker 2.
