While hanging out in Grow a Garden, you might’ve seen some players with farms full of huge trees loaded with Rainbow and Gold fruits. That’s no accident, because chances are they’ve got plenty of sprinklers working for them.
Sprinklers are tools that can trigger chance-based mutations like Rainbow or Gold on your plants, and they’re especially handy for slow-growing seeds or giving you bigger fruits. Investing in them is definitely worth it. If you’re not sure how to get or use sprinklers in Grow a Garden, this guide breaks it all down for you.
Grow a Garden: Best Crops Tier List
Grow a Garden has lots of seeds, but only some are truly worth planting. Here’s a simple tier list breaking down the best and the worst ones.
How to Get Sprinklers in Grow a Garden
To get a sprinkler in Grow a Garden, head to the Gear Shop and purchase it using Sheckles. You’ll find this shop just to the left of the Event Platform, so it’s easy to locate. There are four types of sprinklers in the game, and like crop seeds, they aren’t always available, so make sure to check back every five minutes for restocks or simply buy them with Robux.
Here’s how much each sprinkler costs, along with what it does and how long it lasts.

How to Use Sprinklers in Grow a Garden
In Grow a Garden, using sprinklers is pretty straightforward, but it can be tricky for some players, especially if they want to try them on grown plants. To use a sprinkler on seeds, plant your seeds, then grab your sprinkler and click near your seeds to place it, and it’ll start working right away. The seeds will grow faster (even Coconut and Dragon Fruit), and the tree or hanging fruits might get bigger with Rainbow and Gold mutations.
If you want to use a sprinkler on already grown plants, first harvest the fruits, so the next ones can get the sprinkler’s effects, depending on the type you have. The best method is to place several sprinklers near the seeds or grown plants (preferably Advanced, Godly, or Master) and leave the game for 30 minutes to an hour. When you come back, you’ll find massive trees and fruits.
