Support Points are one of the key resources used to improve characters in Umamusume: Pretty Derby. These have a direct affect on how well Support Cards function, and if players want to make the most out of their runs in Career mode, then getting tons of Support Points will be the key to success.

Getting and using Support Points is fairly simple, but if you're a new Umamusume player, then both of these might be a little confusing to you. This guide covers the best ways to get Support Points so you can help your trainees win more races.

How to Farm SP in Umamusume: Pretty Derby

Umamusume Dailies screen

The most consistent way to get SP in Umamusume is to do Daily Missions. You can check these out via the Special Mission button on the main menu screen. All you have to do is do whatever the challenges tell you to do — you'll very likely complete some of them just by playing through a Career mode run, though others (especially the event/special missions) require you to complete more specific challenges.

Daily Missions are different from Daily Races — the latter is for farming Monies in Umamusume.

Daily challenges should give you somewhere around 800 SP once you complete all of them. Meanwhile, special/event challenges can give you as much as 15,000. However, the latter won't always be avaialble.

Completing Career More Attempts

You should be able to get a few hundred SP after you complete a Career mode run, though the amount you get will differ according to how far you make it into your Umamusume's goal list.

Admittedly, this isn't a fast method of getting SP in Umamusume, but the amount you get will eventually add up, especially when you combine them with the SP you get from dailies. Also, Career mode runs build into the next method of gaining SP.

Transferring Veteran Umamusume

Umamusume Pretty Derby Veteran Roster screen

Every time you complete a Career mode run (successfully or not), your Umamusume from that attempt becomes a Veteran, and a copy of them becomes available in your Veteran Roster in the Enhance menu. Veterans can be used as either parents for Sparks or transferred for SP.

Transferring a Veteran Umamusume is essentially the same as selling them. That version of the character will be converted into Support Points — the higher their grade, the more SP you'll earn.

If you failed to win the URA Finale or any scenario using any character multiple times, you'll likely have several Veteran versions of them on your list. It's often better to turn them into SP, especially if you don't plan on using them anymore.
