The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom introduces several new and returning armor pieces for players to use and collect. Within the game are four special helmets returning from Breath of the Wild based on the four divine beasts. This guide will direct players to where the Vah Rudania Divine Helm is hidden in Tears of the Kingdom.
What Does the Vah Rudania Divine Helm Do?
With the
Vah Rudania Divine Helm equipped, Link is granted a level of Flame Guard that allows protection from spontaneously combusting in intense heat. It does not belong to a full set, but paired with one other piece of armor from the Flamebreaker Set will provide players with all the fire resistance they need.
However, it should be noted that
Flame Guard does not protect against desert heat. The description of the helm also claims that it deepens the bond with the Gorons when worn by a Hylian.
Vah Rudania Divine Helm Location in Tears of the Kingdom
Players hunting for the hidden Vah Rudania Divine Helm have only a short journey ahead. They should make their way to the area north of Death Mountain, just outside the Death Caldera, toward two ponds shaped like lizards facing one another.
For the fastest route, players should fast travel to the Sibajitak Shrine (2401, 3273, 0402) and travel southwest. On the approach, players should go towards the head of the northernmost lizard pond.
When looking directly out from the head of the lizard (south-southeast toward the nearby cliff face), players should notice a wall of boulders that can be smashed or blown open with TotK's bombs.
Breaking the boulders reveals the entrance to a hidden cave called Lizard's Burrow. The cave is a rather short tunnel filled with a few boulders and mineable rocks.
Players can follow the path to the back of the cave to find a chest containing the Vah Rudania Divine Helm.
How to Get Vah Rudania Divine Helm with amiibo
With the use of amiibo, players have the ability to summon special rewards. By scanning a Daruk amiibo, players will receive a handful of stone materials, such as
Rock Salt and Flint, and a metal chest. This chest has the possibility of holding a Vah Rudania Divine Helm for players to claim.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available for the Nintendo Switch.
