How to Get the Wild Seas Curse in Sea of Thieves

All Wild Seas Commendations in Sea of Thieves

To get the Wild Seas Curse in Sea of Thieves, you must first complete all Wild Seas commendations found via the Bilge Rat and Wild Seas sections of your Pirate Log. You can view the Wild Seas Curse and its unlock requirements on page two of the Wild Seas commendations page, as shown above. Altogether, there are 20 Ancient Megalodon commendations plus 9 Hunting Spear, Boar hunting, and miscellaneous ones, bringing the total to 29 Wild Seas Commendations to complete, plus the curse itself (also listed as a commendation), as detailed in the tables below.

Essentially, unlocking the Wild Seas Curse means achieving the 'Wildest Seas World-Beater' commendation, which you get for ticking off every Wild Seas commendation. Once unlocked, you can equip the Wild Seas Curse in the usual way from the vanity chest on your ship or at an outpost.

Ancient Megalodon Wild Seas Commendations (Feared Redmaw and Barnacled Dread) in Sea of Thieves

There are 20 commendations related to defeating the Feared Redmaw and Barnacled Dread Ancient Megalodons. Ancient Megalodons are bigger, tougher, and more powerful versions of the standard Megalodons in Sea of Thieves, with the added challenge of various unique fire attacks from the Feared Redmaw, plus electric attacks and enemy spawning abilities from the Barnacled Dread. Therefore, it can take time to complete every Ancient Megalodon commendation from the Wild Seas set, with their unlock requirements detailed in the table below:
