Persona5: The Phantom X isn't a massive AAA game that dropped with all of its content right away. The way the game originally released is only the foundation for so much more, as this game will constantly be getting new content in the form of palaces and new Phantom Thieves to recruit.

The number of Palaces is a major factor in the overall size of the game. While Palaces don't disappear once they are completed, like they did in Persona 5 Royal, many players may want to know exactly how many Palaces are currently in the game at various times after the game's launch; here's how many are currently in the game.

How Many Palaces Are Currently in Persona 5 Phantom X?

At the time of writing, the game is currently in Version 1.0.1, and there are two Palaces available to explore. On top of those two Palaces, there are also many floors of Mementos to explore, with more also being added later as more Palaces are added to the game.

The answer is ever changing as more versions of the game are released, and the above information will be updated whenever a new Palace is added.

These Palaces are arguably the same size as those in Persona 5 Royal, if not being a bit bigger. While the main story of a palace takes you through a good portion of all there is to explore, each Palace has a lot more optional content in Persona 5 X, as there are additional incentives for exploration. Palaces are a great place to get upgrade material and even Gold Tickets, and aren't tied to any energy usage and can be fully explored to the player's desire whenever they want.

What Else is There To Do in Persona 5 X?

If you're coming from the mainline series, hearing there are only a few Palaces can be concerning, as that was where the bulk of the fighting came from. Persona 5 X has more than just Mementos, but also the following sections of the Metaverse to fight Shadows in:

  • Realm of Repression
  • The Velvet Trials
  • Trials from the Sea of Souls
  • Nightmare's Gateway

On top of these things in the Metaverse, there are many Synergies to unlock and get closer to, which is this game's form of confidants. At the time of writing this article, there are currently six to unlock and get through their 20 levels with. Your social stats are also each leveled to 20, meaning there is still a lot of content for players to engage with, even though there are a limited number of Palaces.
