LEGO Fortnite: How to Plant Seeds

As you explore the map, you will find various abandoned buildings and settlements that have chests. In many of the chests, you will find different types of seeds that you can then grow in your garden. For this, follow the next steps:

Craft a Shovel

The first step in farming is to create a Shovel. You need a Shovel to get the Soil that will become a Garden Plot in the future. Use the Crafting Station to create a Shovel. Aim at the ground and use it to mine Soil.

Get a Fertilizer

Fertilizer in LEGO Fortnite is the key to growing a crop, but finding them is not as easy as it seems. When exploring the Grasslands Biome, look out for animals like sheep, cows, and chickens searching for food. Take some raspberries, pumpkins, and corn with you and drop them to the animals. Stand back and wait until, for example, a cow eats the food on the ground. It will naturally produce Fertilizer, which you can use to craft a Garden Plot.

Create a Garden Plot

Once you have collected enough Fertilizer and Soil, you can make a Garden Plot. Here's what you need to do it:

  • Enter the building mode.
  • Look for Garden Plot in the Utility category.
  • To create a Garden Plot, you will need:
    • 2x Soil
    • 1x Fertilizer

  • Create and place the Garden Plot in the area where you want to grow food.

Plant Seeds

Once you have collected the required resources and created a Garden Plot, you can start farming. Here's how to plant seeds in LEGO Fortnite:

  • Go to the Garden Plot and interact with it.
  • Move any Seeds to Storage.
  • Wait for them to grow.
