Each class in Elden Ring Nightreign plays very differently, focusing on different styles to make every expedition unique if you're playing alone or with a party. While you start the game with access to the first six characters, you'll soon get access to the final two shortly after beating the first expedition.
The Revenant is one of the more complex characters that can't really hold her own in a fight, but luckily, she'll always have summons to help her out. Here's how to play Revenant, along with how all her skills work in Elden Ring Nightreign.
Elden Ring Nightreign: How Long Is A Run (How Long to Beat?)
Expeditions in Elden Ring Nightreign have a semi-set amount of time; here's how long it takes to complete a round.
Basic Mechanics & Passive Skill For Revenant In Elden Ring Nighreign
The main focus when playing Revenant is mixing your own spells from a safe distance with your summons fighting enemies up close. While you can choose to fight up close, the Revenant has a very low health pool and won't be able to take much of a hit. The Revenant and her summons don't deal a ton of damage on their own, but fighting together can be very efficient.
The Passive skill for the Revenant is Necromancy, which gives any enemy killed by the Revenant a chance to come back as a temporary summon. These summons only last one minute, and aren't buffed from her ultimate, but can help greatly turn the tide in any fight. Necromancy has a chance of working against just about any enemy that isn't a major boss, so always aim to land the final blow.
Revenant Character Skill & Ultimate Art In Elden Ring Nightreign
The Revenant's Character Skill is Summon Spirit, which allows you to summon one of her chosen family members as a ghost to fight by her until another one is summoned. When using this skill, a smaller menu will display in the bottom left of the screen, showing you the health of each of your three summons you can choose from:
- Helen - A human-sized, quick fighter, ideal for single enemies.
- Frederick - A big pumpkin-head like summon with a decent health pool and wide area of effect attacks.
- Sebastian - A large skeleton stuck to one spot that deals great damage to anything that comes near, along with a few ranged spells.
Each summon has its own health bar, which will regenerate whenever they are not currently summoned or whenever you approach a Site of Grace. Each summon has its uses, and switching between them to find the right counter to an enemy is crucial.
The Revenant's Ultimate Art is Immortal March, which revives downed allies and makes her and all her named shadows immortal for a short time. It's important to note that being immortal does not mean the Revenant and her named summons will take damage, but will not go down and stay at only one HP, taking damage up until that point. Activating this Ultimate Art will also trigger the special attack of whichever summon spirit she currently has out.

Best Weapons & Cache Upgrades For Revenant In Elden Ring Nightreign
Sacred Seals tend to be the best weapon for the Revenant, as her Faith is her best attribute. While her Intelligence isn't as high, having a staff too can help her branch out her elemental damage and try to cover more weaknesses to further her individual damage.
The best Cache upgrades for the Revenant are anything that boosts her Mind, Intelligence, or overall spell and incantation damage. She'll never have very high survivability, so it's best to focus on upgrades that boost her damage and worry about your family summons taking the main attention from the enemy.
Elden Ring Nightreign: How To Get Dark Souls Skins
To unlock Dark Souls skins, Nightreign players must complete a challenging encounter, then spend Murk at the dresser to purchase Dark Souls costumes.
Advanced Revenant Tips In Elden Ring Nightreign
You'll want to cycle through your summons often, making sure they all have high health. This character is a strong support option for your party, and her ultimate can be the ultimate tool in healing downed party members. While she does start with a melee weapon, you'll want to quickly transition to ranged attacks using spells or incantations. Each summon has its uses, but some will exceed against specific enemies or formations, so find the best counter and always try to use the right one.
When exploring Limveld, always try and land the final hit on basic enemies to try and take advantage of Necromancy, letting those new ghosts take the brunt of any fight. Should a boss have any smaller enemies with them, make them your focus to try and give your party additional help, even just for a bit.
