Destiny: Rising adds a twist to Bungie's sci-fi shooter series that players have come to know and love over the past 10 years. With its first outing on mobile devices, developer NetEase has taken what makes the series great and given it what feels like a true mobile makeover, complete with gacha pulls and gameplay that feels more suited to short bursts during your commute. If you're looking to get the best character from your first pull, you'll likely want to know how to reroll in Destiny Rising, so you can keep trying over and over until you get one of the coveted S-tier characters.

How to Check Destiny Rising Server Status

As a gacha game, Destiny: Rising requires players to log in to a server. Here's how to check the Destiny Rising server status.

How to Reroll in Destiny Rising

Rerolling in Destiny Rising first requires you to have completed Chapter 1-2. This means making your way through the tutorial missions until you get to a mission called 'Assemble a Fireteam.' You'll know you've reached this point when you also receive all your pre-registration rewards in the mail.

It's impossible to miss when you've reached the 'rerolling' point, as you'll be given a pull as part of a tutorial that talks you through the gacha system. This is done at the recruitment counter after completing the mission above.

This is when you'll unlock character pulls and can begin spending your in-game currency. With all the pre-registration rewards, you'll probably be able to pull enough times to get a Mythical character, or failing that, significantly increase your chances of getting one thanks to Destiny: Rising's Pity system.

Destiny Rising Gwynn Gacha System

If you don't get the character that you were hoping for after spending all your currency on pulls at this point, you can reroll by going to Settings by pressing the small cog icon in the bottom right corner of the screen. From there, go to 'Player Center' at the top of this screen, and then select the 'Account Deletion' option in the window that appears.

This will wipe all of your in-game progress and allow you to start the game from the beginning. Of course, this also means you'll need to replay the first 20-30 minutes of the game again.

Is it Worth Rerolling in Destiny: Rising?

I'd argue that it's not worth rerolling in Destiny: Rising. While the time commitment of starting the game over and over again might not bother you, the returns of getting Gwynn from the standard banner just don't seem worth it. Gacha games always start off with some powerful characters that players are desperate to get, but characters in future banners are likely to be just as powerful, if not more so, to encourage players to purchase in-game currencies to pull for them.

Ultimately, the decision is up to you, though. If you're desperate to get Gwynn and don't mind playing the game over and over in the hopes you land her, then go for it. But just be warned that your first 5-star character might not feel all that shiny and exciting once new characters arrive.
