A lot of the hideouts in the Teshio Ridge region in Ghost of Yotei have puzzles that players will have to complete to access them. All of these puzzles involve rotating the fox statues in a certain way.
The Nakajima Ice Cave Hideout is one that players might come across as they make their way to Owl Mountain to learn the way of the Kusarigama. The guide below offers the puzzle solution to access the hideout, as well as other puzzles players will encounter inside the hideout in Ghost of Yotei.

How to Solve the Nakajima Ice Cave Hideout Puzzle in Ghost of Yotei
To reach the Nakajima Ice Cave, you will need to make your way to the Sarobetsu Lake, where the Nakajima Sake House is located. From here, head west, and you will spot the entrance, which is blocked by two fox statues and the Kitsune puzzle. Rotate the statues so that they face away from each other, and this will open up a gap that you can crawl through. Once inside, jump up, and you will spot a platform you can grapple onto.
You will see a wall that you must climb to reach the second Kitsune puzzle. This is an easy one; all you have to do is turn the statue twice to make it face the light at the other end. Doing this will spawn ropes that you can jump across and make it to the Nakajima Ice Cave Hideout.
Nakajima Ice Cave Hideout in Ghost of Yotei
There are quite a few enemies here, so it is best to go with the stealth approach, as there are quite a lot of bushes around. You will also take Cold damage in this area, so it is best to equip Taro's Armor if you have it on you. Once all the enemies have been dealt with, approach the final Kitsune puzzle in the middle of the area.
Turn the fox statues so that they face each other, and this will launch a rope, allowing you to go across. Jump across the platforms, and this path will eventually lead to the Altar of Reflection. You will also get a Puzzle Box here that is required for the Trickster Fox trophy.
